2024 Chevy Trailblazer Loses These Three Paint Colors

Three paint colors offered for the 2023 model year will no longer be available on the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer, GM Authority has learned. The colors that will be discontinued with the arrival of the 2024 model year include the following (with color codes in parentheses):
- Blue Glow Metallic (GGK)
- Vivid Orange Metallic (GHD)
- Mahogany Red Metallic (GHL)
GM originally introduced these paint colors during the 2022 model year. Vivid Orange Metallic was one of two bright paint colors added to the palette, as well as the only orange hue. It indirectly replaced the Dark Copper Metallic color offered on the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer and it was initially offered on the LS, LT, and Activ trim levels.
GM introduced Blue Glow Metallic simultaneously as the other bright paint color, also only available on the LS, LT, and Activ trim levels. Mahogany Red Metallic was the third color, the availability of which was limited to the LS and LT trims.
Both Blue Glow and Vivid Orange are already built out for the 2023 model year, meaning they are unavailable to order and will not return. Mahogany Red is still available to order on the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer for the time being.
The refreshed 2024 Chevy Trailblazer will arrive with nine new exterior paint colors, the palette now consisting of the following hues:
- Cacti Green (new for 2024)
- Copper Harbor Metallic (new for 2024)
- Crimson Metallic
- Fountain Blue
- Iridescent Pearl Tricoat
- Mosaic Black Metallic
- Nitro Yellow Metallic
- Sterling Gray Metallic
- Summit White
The compact crossover gets a thorough refresh inside and out, starting with slimmer upper lighting signatures and a new grille. The front fascia, exterior lighting, grille, and wheels will feature unique styling for each trim level.
The 2024 Chevy Trailblazer will also get an updated cabin with a fresh standard 11-inch diagonal center display and an 8-inch diagonal Driver Information Center. All trim levels get Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with available Adaptive Cruise Control.
As a reminder, the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer will be powered by the standard turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine or the optional turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T gasoline engine. Front-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel drive offered as an option.
Both the standard 1.2L LIH engine and the 1.3L L3T engine with front-wheel drive are paired with the GM continuously variable automatic transmission, while the 1.3L L3T engine with all-wheel drive is matched to the GM nine-speed automatic transmission. The refreshed Trailblazer continues to ride on the GM VSS-F platform.
Start of regular production (SORP) for the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer is scheduled for July 2023.

What’s going on at GM’s color department? They keep recycling paint that goes on a tiny fraction of their vehicles. Does the formula go bad after 2 years or something?
I love the colors they got rid of. I wonder what the reason was for taking them off the order sheet??
Looking to buy a new trailblazer, I really liked the aqua blue a few years ago, then I liked the burgundy it would match my Silverado. But they keep changing up, so not sure what I will chose now. Wonder what production numbers per color look like?
did they really have an actual aqua blue a few years back?? i’d get that in a second (well, with black or maybe even white roof).
many pictures on the web made the 2024 seltos look like aqua, but it’s not. must be very hard to show colors as they truly are or something.
i’m half considering the copper harbor.
