Latte Metallic paint is no longer available to order on 2023 Cadillac XT6 crossovers for the remainder of the model year, GM Authority has learned. The paint color will be built out following the week of March 6th, 2023.
The 2023 Cadillac XT6 was the second model year with Latte Metallic as an available color following the tint’s introduction on the 2022 XT6. It was added alongside Rosewood Metallic, the model year’s other new exterior color.
Priced at $625, Latte Metallic (color code G5D) was an available color on all 2023 Cadillac XT6 trim levels, including Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. The color could also be combined with all interior colorways:
- Cirrus with Dark Titanium accents
- Cirrus with Jet Black accents
- Dark Auburn with Jet Black accents
- Jet Black
- Jet Black with Jet Black accents
- Maple Sugar with Jet Black accents
Several other options for the 2023 Cadillac XT6 are now unavailable as production of the luxury crossover approaches its sunset date. Three of its wheel options have been under constraint since early January 2023, including one factory-installed option and two LPO or dealer-installed choices. The wheels affected include (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):
- 20-inch Chrome wheels, LPO (S1T)
- 20-inch Gloss Black wheels, LPO (S2K)
- 21-inch 12-Split Spoke alloy wheels with Diamond Cut/Android finish (RPW)
Furthermore, the Onyx Package (RPO code PDB), normally optionally available on the 2023 Cadillac XT6 Sport trims for $4,395 and the Luxury or Premium Luxury trims for $4,895, has also been unavailable to order since September 2022. The package includes nine elements, ranging from wheels and grille to moldings, trim, and the exhaust bezel, in Gloss Black.
The nameplate is expected to receive a mid-cycle refresh with the launch of the 2024 Cadillac XT6, with start of regular production (SORP) currently scheduled for June 2023. The 2024 XT6 is the crossover’s fourth model year on the market. It’s uncertain whether or not Latte Metallic will return as an exterior color option on the refreshed 2024 model.
As a reminder, the 2023 Cadillac XT6’s powertrains are expected to carry over to the 2024 model year. The crossover’s engine options include the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine developing 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with the GM nine-speed automatic transmission, while FWD is standard and AWD is optional.
The XT6 rides on the GM C1 platform. Production for the North American market takes place at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.

Good. This color wasn’t very becoming.
It looks better in person! Different from all the other bland colors.
Beautiful Colour !
Love the color. Latte and Emerald Green are the only colors considering outside the 50 shades of grey and 100 shades of silver.
