2023 Cadillac CT5-V Rift Metallic Paint No Longer Available To Order

The 2023 Cadillac CT5-V is the fourth model year for the sporty luxury sedan, offering up a few changes and updates compared to the preceding 2022 model year. Now, however, GM Authority has learned that the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V is no longer available to order in one specific paint option.

According to GM Authority sources, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V is no longer available to order in Rift Metallic paint, which is tagged with paint code GRW. The color will be built out for the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V as of the week of March 27th.

Rift Metallic paint was previously available for the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V for an extra $625. The paint option was not offered for Luxury, Premium Luxury, or Sport trim levels of the Cadillac CT5. Rift Metallic paint was available in conjunction with all three Cadillac CT5-V interior colorways, including:

  • Jet Black with Jet Black accents
  • Sedona Sauvage with Jet Black accents
  • Whisper Beige with Jet Black accents

Rift Metallic paint was introduced to the Cadillac CT5-V with the 2021 model year. It’s unclear at this time if Rift Metallic will once again be available for the 2024 model year, however, it should be mentioned that the 2024 model year will introduce a mid-cycle refresh for the nameplate, and as such, a new paint color list as well.

As for the specs, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V (not to be confused with the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing) features the twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 LGY gasoline engine, which is rated at a maximum of 360 horsepower at 5,400 rpm and 405 pound-feet of torque at 2,350 rpm, all of which is directed through the GM 10-speed automatic transmission. Output hits the ground via the rear wheels as standard, or all four wheels as optional. Under the body panels, the Cadillac CT5-V rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform, while production for the North American market takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Lansing, Michigan.

  2. Rift is a off white metallic with a hint of tan.

I think they used the name rift because you can argue over what color it is.

It seems to give the car some added definition compared to plain white.

    2. That sounds like the old GM white pearl, always looked like it had tan in the color, where everyone else especially Toyota had some blue in the metallic and they all looked better than the GM pearl white.
