2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Rift Metallic Paint No Longer Available To Order

The 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is the second model year for the hot-to-trot four-door, once again offering impressive track-ready performance in a comfortable, luxury-laden package. Now, GM Authority has learned that the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is no longer available to order in one specific color.
Rift Metallic
According to GM Authority sources, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is no longer available to order in Rift Metallic paint. The Rift Metallic paint option is tagged with paint code GRW, and is expected to be built out for the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing as of the week of March 27th.
Rift Metallic paint was previously available for the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing and Cadillac CT5-V for an extra $625. Rift Metallic was not offered for Luxury, Premium Luxury, or Sport trim levels of the Cadillac CT5.
Rift Metallic paint was available on the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing in conjunction with the following three interior colorways:
- Jet Black with Jet Black accents
- Natural Tan with Jet Black accents
- Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents
The Rift Metallic paint option was initially added to the CT5 lineup with the 2021 Cadillac CT5-V. It’s unclear at this point if the hue will return for the 2024 model, but given the 2024 model is expected to introduce a mid-cycle refresh for the Cadillac CT5 lineup, the paint options list will likely get a refresh as well.
As a reminder, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is equipped as standard with the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, which is rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque, all of which is routed exclusively to the rear wheels by way of the standard GM six-speed manual transmission. The GM 10-speed automatic transmission is offered as optional. Under the body panels, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform, while production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
