The 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing follows the initial 2022 model year for the hot-to-trot sports sedan, once again offering impressive turbocharged performance that’s ready for the track. Now, however, GM Authority has learned that the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is no longer available to order in Rift Metallic paint.
The Rift Metallic exterior paint option for the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is tagged with paint code GRW, and according to GM Authority sources, will be built out for the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blacking after the week of March 27th.
Rift Metallic paint was previously available for the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing for an extra $625. This paint option was also available for the (non-Blackwing) Cadillac CT4-V, but was not offered for Cadillac CT4 Luxury, Premium Luxury, or Sport trim levels.
With regard to the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, Rift Metallic was available in combination with each of the various interior colorways, with the exception of Jet Black with Signet accents. As such, Rift Metallic was available with:
- Jet Black with Adrenaline Red accents
- Jet Black with Jet Black accents
- Jet Black with Sky Cool Gray accents
- Natural Tan with Jet Black accents
- Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents
It’s also worth noting that Rift Metallic was offered as the exclusive paint color for the limited-run 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Road Atlanta IMSA Edition, which celebrates Cadillac’s on-track success with a number of aesthetic enhancements for the interior and exterior. Highlights for this model include carbon fiber trim for the console, a decal package, both carbon fiber aero packages, and unique serial plates, among other bits and pieces.
Rift Metallic was originally introduced to the Cadillac CT4 lineup with the 2021 model year. At this point, it’s unclear if Rift Metallic will once again be available for the 2024 model year. However, considering the 2024 model year will likely introduce a mid-cycle refresh for the CT4, it is likely a new paint options list will be offered as well.
As for the engine, the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing features the turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine, which is rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. Under the body, the CT4 rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform, with production taking place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.

And – what happened to the paint color Quicksilver on the 2023 Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate? It was available in 2022. Now it’s just gone as a paint option.
I thought Rift started in 2020 for CT4-V.
IMO Rift shows the lines more than the white.
