These Four 2023 Buick Enclave Packages Are Unavailable To Order

The 2023 Buick Enclave represents the sixth model year of the second-generation crossover, and introduces just a few updates before the third-generation Enclave is released for the 2024 calendar year. Today, GM Authority has learned that these option packages for the 2023 Enclave are now unavailable to order.

Four LPO packages, or dealer-installed options, are no longer available to order (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):

Black Accent Package, LPO (PDM):

  • Chrome surround grille with Black mesh insert, LPO (RZ9)
  • Black rear license plate appliqué, LPO (RXX)

This package was normally available on Essence and Premium trim levels, while not offered at all on the Avenir trim.

Hit the Road Package, LPO (PCX)

  • Molded assist steps, LPO (VXW)
  • Roof rack cross rails, LPO (VLL)

This package was normally available across all three trim levels for an extra $1,450.

Touring Package, LPO (PCI):

  • 20-inch machined face aluminum wheels with Satin Graphite painted pockets, LPO (S1T)
  • Molded assist steps, LPO (VXW)

This package was normally available on Essence and Premium trim levels for an extra $2,925, and not offered at all on the Avenir trim.

Luxury Package, LPO (PCL):

  • Chrome surround grille with Black mesh insert, LPO (RZ9)
  • Molded assist steps, LPO (VXW)

This package was normally available on Essence and Premium trim levels, while not offered at all on the Avenir trim.

As of the time of this writing, it’s unclear as to why these packages are unavailable, however, three of the four may be related to a constraint of the dealer-installed molded assist steps (RPO code VXW). Notably, this option is unavailable to order as a standalone option as well.

As a reminder, the 2023 Buick Enclave is powered by naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LFY gasoline engine, which produces 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. Output is routed to the wheels through the GM nine-speed automatic transmission.

Under the skin lies the GM C1 platform, while production began on June 11th, 2022 at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan.

  3. Of course they still make it. The enclave and traverse and Acadia prior to 2015 or 2016 had the most room for a 3 row in it’s class. It was larger inside more trunk everything than a Tahoe until the 2021 redesign. Grand Cherokee l model again 2021 copies the specs to almost a t. If you wanted a three row SUV that could seat adults or teen children in the third row these were it. It can tow a horse trailer or 5k easy. Gm has been the one to beat in three row since 2008ish. If you want a minivan but in SUV form this was the go-to. Nobody holds a candle to it until recently 2021.

    1. I’ll add zero import brands came or come close still afaik. Toyota you would have to get a sequoia and really you might as well get a Burban or Yukon xl or Escalade so you aren’t dealing with 2000 tech and interior. Hondas MDX is small. third row is there for the spec sheet only. Nissan armada well it’s a Nissan and the prices for those again suburban is better. Regardless best option is still minivan for kiddos especially stow n go Pacifica. Toyota Honda only stow third row. Traverse used to be under 30k for awhile if you could live with barebones lt models. I know because I have five kids tow stuff and actually throw plywood in mine off and on.
