While there are plenty of outrageous and over-the-top builds out there these days, this 1960 Chevy Bel Air doubles down on simplicity and understated cool to make for one very sweet restomod cruiser, as seen in the following feature video.
Built by Timeless Kustoms out of Camarillo, California, this 1960 Chevy Bel Air originally belonged to the owner’s father-in-law. When it was initially brought into the shop, it needed a little more love than first anticipated, so Timeless got to work touching everything needed to make it into the perfect cruiser that it is today.
To that end, the Chevy Bel Air received extensive metal work, with new quarter panels, door sectioning, and new fenders. The bumpers were shortened and tucked, while the trunk lock, door handles, and some of the bolt holes were shaved. There’s also new LED lighting from Dapper. The whole thing is finished in factory BMW yellow paint with BMW gray accents, while 19-inch Forgeline wheels in a matching gray finish ride in the corners.
The power spec features a stock 6.2L V8 LT1 gasoline engine, which is rated at 410 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque at the wheels. It also looks great under the hood thanks to a shaved firewall and custom radiator. Output is routed to the rear wheels by way of the 4L75-E automatic transmission, which feeds the factory rear end.
Interestingly, the builders kept the factory chassis as well, but upgraded with a variety of components from the Ridetech catalogue, including tubular control arms, a coilover suspension conversion, and big sway bars. The stoppers were also upgraded with new six-piston brakes from Baer, which clamp down on a set of drilled and slotted rotors.
Finishing it off is an upgraded interior by Eric Thorsen, with re-foamed stock seats, a Flaming River steering column, Dakota Digital gauges, and Vintage Air climate control.

Hello all, this would be my car. Unfortunately no longer available at an affordable price. I had this as a toy car. Unfortunately it got lost in the course of my life.
Simply beautiful.
Many greetings from Germany.
I always like the styling the back and sides of these cars, loses me with the front
Blast from the past NICE car. My uncle had one not as cool as this one but nice too.
I love this car, we had red 63 Impala 2-door HT family car when I was young. Being a purist I am not a big fan of the suspension mods but I’m glad it is restored.
1959 Bonneville taillights.
Beautiful!
