What about the buyers double dipped on bowtie emblems, on every model. Chevrolet could easily install black bowtie emblems, on the assembly line, instead of yellow.
What else is there left to be said but……LOL. GM financing taking a page from Enron.
What about the sales tax on that double-charge? Not a large amount, but if the point is to remedy the issue, then sales tax has to be considered. For those that took out a loan, then it should be the $595 + tax + interest.
This is like the friend that borrows money, then pays back in dribs and drabs, but never ultimately pays back the full amount…except I’m not sure GM is even our friend.
Red calipers are $695 on the Chevy website now…I assume it used to be $595…so 16% inflation on caliper paint.
they raised $100 with last price increase,,I would have thought if u were chged $1200 for calipers it would have been noticeable
PLUS XTRA DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLE FEES BASED ON PURCHASE PRICE (CALIFORNIA).
I think, GM, has an incompetency problem, like a lot of places. My 2023 C8, was built on 20/12/2022 and my dealership was told, they would receive it by early March. Then a week later, my dealership gets a memo, my C8 is in the inspection Bay , so they will get my C8 in mid May. I called Corvette conciergerie and they tell me , yes, that is the case. So I figure, more time to sell my C7. Surprise, surprise, my Vette arrived on 20/01/2023!!!
My 23 C8 was built in aug 22 took delivery in sept how would I know if I was double charged for red calipers
Never understood the fascination with red calipers. Not like the work better. To each his own.
It brings out the black wheels.
Red Calipers, because red = 500 extra HP. Best way to be faster than the other stock Corvettes. 🙂
Really I think in good faith they should just pay you for the calipers as well as reimburse so you get about $1,200 back and I didn’t buy one of the cars does sound like incompetency from GM even more of course look who’s running it into the ground that is and just think our tax money bailed it out
