Custom Sandstorm 2022 GMC Hummer EV Pickup For Sale: Video

The folks at Soflo Customs in South Florida are back at it with another customized 2022 GMC Hummer EV Pickup, this time covering the all-electric off-roader in Sandstorm kevlar.

For those readers who may be unaware, this isn’t the first time we’ve covered a GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 upgraded by Soflo Customs. Just last month, the shop was offering a similarly customized Pickup finished in matte green.

This custom GMC Hummer EV is priced at $219,999.

This particular example continues the theme with an epoxy coat of kevlar fibers, this time in a tan color dubbed Sandstorm. Kevlar is the same material used in bulletproof vests, and as such, the custom coating provides the all-electric off-roader with a very tough exterior that should do well to brush off any small rocks or branches that may be encountered while out on the trail.

The custom treatment continues with a wild four-inch suspension lift, making this GMC Hummer EV that much more imposing.

“While no other purveyor of such handcrafted automotive work has dared to work on the complex suspension of the GMC Hummer EV ever since it debuted late in late 2021 [sic], SoFlo couldn’t wait, literally transforming the much-press-covered and lauded pickup truck as soon as they were able to get their mechanic gloves on one,” the seller states.

The taller stance is complemented by new 20-inch Black Rhino wheels wrapped in 38-inch Atlas Paraller MT tires, looking appropriately rugged on the kevlar-coated GMC Hummer EV. Also of note are the large custom panels around the bed panels, which do well to enhance the profile.

The customization continues into the cabin space, where Hummer is decked out in high-end pleated upholstery, also in tan. The material is apparently water resistant.

Now, this custom 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition is up for sale, listed at $219,999. As a reminder, the GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 features GM Ultium drive motors and a GM Ultium battery pack, with peak output rated at 1,000 horsepower. The GM BT1 platform provides the bones, while production takes place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan.

  1. Oddly enough their listing uses some interior pictures from the green truck they had sold prior to this one.

  2. I want to see the sucker who pays that much money for that vehicle!

    1. It won’t be the sucker who paid to fill up the gas version.

    2. Exactly the price is far more than the upcoming Hummer SUV and has the same level of performance as the current Hummer EV 1, better seeing if this could be sold at an Auction, respectfully; I won’t mention any names of any major Auctions out there.
