No Chevy Express Discount Offers In January 2023

In January 2023, there remain no Chevy Express discount offers on the 2023 Chevy Express full-size cargo and passenger van. Any incentives ended with the 2022 Chevy Express, which is no longer available to order.

This is the 2016 Chevy Express full-size cargo van. The current generation cargo and passenger van will be replaced with a overhauled model for the 2027 model year.

Chevy Express Discount Offers

There are no Chevy Express discount offers during the month of January, and no special financing or lease incentives either. The Bow Tie brand is referring customers to its dealerships for more details on purchase and finance options for the Express.

Chevy Express Pricing

For reference, here are the 2023 Chevy Express configurations, trim levels, and their corresponding starting MSRPs are as follows, $1,795 destination freight charge included:

2023 Express Passenger Van

  • LS – $44,095
  • LT – $46,195

2023 Express Cargo Van

  • Work Van – $39,895

The 2023 Chevy Express represents the 20th model year of the nameplate and gets a substantial price increase over the 2022 model. This price hike is applied across the board in terms of body configuration and powertrain, and includes a $100 increase to the destination freight charge (DFC), which is now up to $1,795 from $1,695.

The full-size passenger and cargo vans both ride on the GM GMT 610 platform and offer identical powertrain options, which include the 4.3L V6 LV1 and 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engines. For the 2023 model year, the Express and its corporate twin, the GMC Savana, continue with minimal changes, although both dropped the optional 2.8L I4 LWN turbo-diesel Duramax engine.

While the Express and Savana were thought to be discontinued after the 2025 model year, GM Authority learned this month that GM plans to redesign the Chevy Express for the 2027 model year, keeping the ICE powertrain. Meanwhile all-electric replacements are rumored for a 2026 debut.

Production of the 2023 Express and Savana began at the GM Wentzville plant in Missouri on August 15th. The online configurator tool is now live for the 2023 Express.

  2. The GMC looks better. I hope they redesign and keep it going in 2027. It’s the one I prefer and seems to be the better quality one IMO.
