Chevrolet is offering up a brand-new 2024 Chevy Trax and $100,000 to enable one lucky person to become Chevy’s Lead Dream Chaser and pursue a lifelong dream or passion project for three months.
To find the new Lead Dream Chaser, Chevy is collaborating with the CEO of Kickstarter, Everett Taylor.
“The past few years have caused many to consider turning their ideas and ambitions into reality, and I’m excited to help Chevy find a qualified person who will pursue their dream,” Taylor said.
Those interested in becoming Chevy’s Lead Dream Chaser are encouraged to submit a short video to ChevyDreamChaser.com about themselves and their dream, as well as how they plan to use the new 2024 Chevy Trax and $100,000 to pursue that dream or help their community. Submissions must also include details on how their story will be shared on social media.
The 30-day submission period to become Chevy’s Lead Dream Chaser will open Friday, January 13th. Chevrolet will announce the finalists in March, and a winner in April.
“We look forward to reviewing the submissions and following along the journey of the Lead Dream Chaser,” said chief marketing officer at Chevrolet, Steve Majoros. “The all-new Chevy Trax has everything you need to pursue your passion in style, so we encourage every dreamer to check it out.”
GM pulled the sheets on the all-new 2024 Chevy Trax last October, revealing a brand-new generation for the entry-level crossover. The exterior includes new dimensions that are lower, longer, and wider than the preceding generation, while exterior styling takes after the Bow Tie brand’s latest ICE-based language, including the Chevy Blazer crossover. Wheel sizing includes 17-inch, 18-inch, and 19-inch options, with LED lighting elements included for the headlamps.
The interior of the all-new 2024 Chevy Trax offers an extra 3 inches of rear legroom and a 12-percent increase in cargo capacity. Under the hood, the next-gen Trax features the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine, while under the skin, the crossover rides on the GM VSS-F vehicle set.

This car would be a hit if it had the 1.5T other regions are getting.
I guess it’d upstage the equinox?
Still wouldn’t drive any of these old women’s CUVs for a $100k paycheck. Gross.
Shh, don’t tell the truth here, people get real butthurt
Another ICE dinosaur.
Why can’t GM introduce a hybrid Trax instead? That would help fill a gaping hole in Chevy’s offerings.
When EV sales bomb hybrids will come.
I’d consider a hybrid and maybe even a PHEV, assuming the cost was low enough for one. A 40-mile PHEV Trailblazer would be amazing.
have a 2020 trax with 23k radio won’t shut off for 3 to 5 minutes after locking up car travel control half engages on bad roads and muffler is going southworth Chevy bloomer wis working on this 5 months no satisfaction
Not bad for a 25k vehicle. Good fuel mileage and not a bad looking vehicle. Plenty of techy stuff available in the LT, RS or Activ trim. Just don’t know why I would choose one over the Trail Blazer. No AWD option. I like the selective FWD/AWD that the Trail Blazers offer. For the money I think it’s a nice affordable vehicle though.
