The light-duty Chevy Silverado 1500 got a full refresh for the 2022 model year, with the updated pickup making its debut in September of the 2021 calendar year. However, prior to the arrival of the refreshed 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500, GM also offered the pre-refresh 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 Limited. Now, however, it looks like practically all pre-refresh models have been sold and delivered.
Looking over the latest sales figures, GM Authority has uncovered that 99 percent of Chevy Silverado 1500 sales in December of the 2022 calendar year consisted of the fully refreshed model, including either the refreshed 2022 model year, or the refreshed 2023 model year. Interestingly, just 1 percent of sales last month consisted of the pre-refresh 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 Limited or older models.
As such, we can conclude that nearly all pre-refresh Chevy Silverado 1500 models have been sold and delivered. Thus very few of the older, less-desirable pre-refresh models remain on dealer lots.
The latest sales figures from the Full-Size Pickup segment in the U.S. place the Chevy Silverado in second with regard to total sales volume for the fourth quarter of the 2022 calendar year, registering 141,912 units sold during that timeframe as compared to 186,650 units for the Ford F-Series. The Chevy Silverado captured 26 percent market share in Q4 of 2022, while the Ford F-Series captured 34 percent market share in Q4 of 2022.

I like the refreshed version. Now let’s get them on the lots and the dealer markups gone.
Sweet!!! Wish GM would make getting already sold trucks outfitted with chips a priority since personally we are coming up on a year of owning.
