For the upcoming 2024 model year, the GMC Sierra HD lineup will receive a mid-cycle refresh that will include revisions to the exterior, an overhauled interior and a few noteworthy powertrain upgrades. Previously, we brought you photos of a 2024 GMC Sierra HD Denali in painted in the White Frost Tricoat hue. Now, we’re taking a look at the 2024 Sierra HD outfitted in the Denali Ultimate trim level draped in the same White Frost Tricoat paint in the following GM Authority Live Photo Gallery.
This particular 2024 Sierra HD is a 2500 HD specced in Crew Cab, Standard Bed configuration and the range-topping Denali Ultimate trim level. The White Frost Tricoat (color code G1W) carries a $1,095 charge.
New for the 2024 model, the Denali Ultimate features exclusive Vader Chrome exterior accents, a unique Alpine Umber interior appointment, and the 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax engine, all as standard affair.
Up front, we can spot the Vader Chrome treatment on the new-for-2024 grille front fascia design, as well as the “regular” chrome tow/recovery hooks. Additionally, the new headlamp design with the revised C-shaped headlamp signature is on full display.
Moving around to the side, the Duramax badge is present and accounted for at the top of the front quarter panels, while the mirror caps and door handles are both chrome’d out. As for rollers, this Sierra HD rides on 20-inch Ultra-bright machined aluminum wheels with High Gloss black accents exclusive to the Denali Ultimate.
Out back, we see a color-matched rear bumper with CornerStep cutouts, along with a hitch for towing. Interestingly, this particular unit is missing the GMC MultiPro tailgate, which is usually equipped as standard on the Denali Ultimate.
As a reminder, the 2024 GMC Sierra HD offers a second engine option, the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine. Standard on all trims but the Denali Ultimate, this powerplant produces 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. The Duramax is optional on the rest of the lineup, and standard on the Denali Ultimate. Regardless of engine option, all 2024 Sierra HD trucks are equipped with an Allison-branded ten-speed automatic transmission
Pricing info for the refreshed Sierra HD is expected closer toward the beginning of production, which will begin during the first quarter of 2023.

I definitely prefer the more understated Vader chrome.
The vader trim makes it look like a base version of the truck, don’t understand that. Ignoring the wheels I have a hard time seeing much difference between this and a Pro model.
Too bad that this won’t be offered in Quicksilver Metallic with Vader Trim. I would have been a serious buyer.
GMC really has been over doing the style on their trucks, the Canyon is pretty bad too. Good thing I don’t buy based on looks, just what is the best tool for the job. A color for sure won’t be a make or break. No white or black but I can find other colors that work.
I wish we could see other trim levels now that we can order at the dealer
Where exactly can you order this?
Go to the section under the article that says, + 2024 GMC Sierra HD Photos. You can see pictures of different trims for the new 2024 HD.
Also I agree with Jho, I don’t think the order books are open for these yet. They don’t even have the Build and Price up yet on the GMC website for the 2024 models.
I agree with above; this would look sick in Quicksilver Metallic with the Vader chrome and an ALL BLACK interior.
Quicksilver Metallic has been GM’s second most popular colour next to Summit White. Why would they discontinue it? Pity.
No it isn’t. I have seen one or two of these trucks max in silver on the street. It’s white, then black.
Would love a normal tailgate standard and MultiPro option.
I prefer white but this will need a ton of paint matching to make it look good. Where are the standard painted fender flares on the Ultimate? We really have to pay an extra $750+ again? Too much black plastic trim for a $90k+ truck. Wheels are also the worst they have designed yet.
Vader chrome grille but standard chrome all over the rest of it? Seriously WTF? Had a Cadillac recently that had the dark chrome grille, wheels, etc but they missed the decklid trim, which was standard bright chrome. I thought that was a faux-pas but this is truly a face-plant by gmc. Not to worry, since I’ll stick with a regular denali. I’m not paying an extra 20k for a tinted grille and some cheesy topographic graffiti ruining the interior. Of course, if the wheels stay that trashy I’ll just wait for them to wake up and smell the ugly before placing my order.
Totally agree……….
