2023 Chevy Seeker Redline Edition Introduced In China

Three months after the official launch of the crossover in China, General Motors has just introduced the all-new 2023 Chevy Seeker Redline Edition in the Asian country.

The automaker first unveiled the all-new 2023 Chevy Seeker Redline Edition at the 2022 Guangzhou International Auto Show, which is open to the public from December 30th, 2022 to January 8th, 2023. The sporty looking Seeker Redline Edition is introduced to the Chinese market as the new range-topping variant of the compact crossover, also known as the all-new second-generation 2024 Chevy Trax in North America.

The all-new 2023 Chevy Seeker Redline Edition complements the nameplate’s existing base and RS trims, adorning a striking blacked-out appearance for the crossover. The additions are exclusively cosmetic, rounding up a gloss black grille, exclusive gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels and the usual red accenting.

Unlike other Chevy vehicles offered in Redline trim, the Chevy Seeker Redline Edition stands out with a more distinctive, custom look that includes matte paint along with racing stripes on the roof and tailgate. It also features distinctive Seeker decals and a feline face representing the edition’s logo.

In addition, the 2023 Chevy Seeker Redline Edition’s cabin features a unique black and white two-tone finish, all contrasted with various red stitching and accenting around the interior. Also new is the suede-like fabric wrapping steering wheel, the door panel armrests and the center console armrest.

The all-new 2023 Chevy Seeker Redline Edition will be officially launched in China during the first quarter of the year. It keeps the other trim levels’ turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder engine that generates 135 kW or 181 horsepower and 250 Nm or 184 pound-feet of torque, mated exclusively to a continuously variable automatic transmission.

  2. I really like the look of the Seeker , and it has a great interior design, it would be awesome if NA got the 1.5 in the upscale models with the CVT.
With enough volume for the NA market, the Trax will be a sales hit, much like the Maverick!!

    1. Seeker/Trax is the nicest small Chevrolet design since Cruze. There should be an AWD variant for the snow belt.
There is no need to further differentiate Trax from Trailblazer. They appeal to very different audiences. Trax rides lower & is wagon like. Not everyone wants a high riding faux Bronco which is Trailblazer’s vibe

  3. Cool vehicle but looks terrible murdered out and that dull old looking paint

  4. Paint and stickers do not make it sporty! It needs a better suspension (handling), more horsepower, better seats etc.

  5. This car is for young people. Too many critical old men on this site.

    1. Hmm I disagree. It is for the uninformed who do not know what sporty means. It is just some paint and decals.
