The 2023 GMC Yukon AT4 Officially Launches In Mexico

General Motors has just officially launched the 2023 GMC Yukon AT4 in Mexico, introducing the all-terrain-focused variant of GMC‘s full-size SUV to the Latin American country for the first time.

The 2023 GMC Yukon AT4 is the main addition of the third model year of the fifth-generation Yukon in the Mexican market, expanding the premium SUV’s lineup that until now was limited to the top-of-the-line Denali trim. In fact, the launch of the new 2023 Yukon AT4 completes the premium off-road sub-brand across the entire range of vehicles that GMC offers in Mexico.

“GMC is completing its move into the premium off-road space in our country by making the AT4 available now in the Yukon lineup,” said Marketing Manager of Luxury Brands at GM Mexico, Ángel Pacheco. “For this variant, we have listened to our customers and ensured that the vehicles meet their lifestyle needs by adding extra capacity and technology,” he added.

As such, the 2023 GMC Yukon AT4 becomes the new entry-level variant for the Yukon in Mexico and will be available in both standard and extended-length XL configurations. The 2023 Yukon AT4 has a taller stance with off-road equipment, specific front-end styling, blacked-out trim, and a unique Jet Black/Brandy interior.

Mechanically, the new 2023 GMC Yukon AT4 arrives in Mexico with the well-known 6.2L L87 V8 engine that develops 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, coupled to the GM 10-speed automatic transmission with Electronic Precision Shift Technology. It comes standard with four-wheel drive and a host of settings that elevate its off-road prowess.

The 2023 GMC Yukon AT4 will be on sale starting next week at the official GMC dealer network in Mexico, with outstanding safety equipment and class-leading technology that includes OnStar and the most advanced Google services. The starting price of the 2023 Yukon AT4 for the Mexican market is 1,987,400 pesos, about $100,800 USD at the current exchange rate.
