RCR Reveals Sponsors, Paint Schemes For Kyle Busch’s No. 8 NASCAR Chevy

Earlier this year, Cup Series driver Kyle Busch announced that he would leave his Toyota-backed race team and join a NASCAR Chevy team, Richard Childress Racing (RCR), in 2023. Now, RCR has revealed Busch’s sponsor lineup, number styling and paint schemes that will be displayed on the No. 8 Camaro ZL1 next season.
The stylized No. 8 itself is different from the number that emblazoned the side of the No. 8 Camaro for the past few seasons, featuring sharper edges and inner drop shadows. The number is very different from the polygonal No. 8 seen on Tyler Reddick’s ride, who recently left RCR to join 23XI Racing in 2023. “The revised number honors the past while embracing the future and the new era that Busch’s presence brings to the 54-year-old organization,” RCR stated in a press release. Busch himself had a hand in designing the number.
Alsco Uniforms and Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen are the only two sponsors to have released their primary paint schemes so far. The Alsco-sponsored race car will feature green sides with the hood and deck lid painted black, as well as a black stripe behind the numbers. The Cheddar’s machine will feature orange sides, black hood and deck lid. Other sponsors include Lenovo, Bet MGM and 3Chi, whose liveries will be revealed at a later date.
“Our business relationships are paramount to our organization and we’re proud to confirm that our primary partners on the No. 8 team will be returning to RCR in 2023,” said Torrey Galida, president of RCR. “Their commitment to our organization is a testament to our team’s collaborative approach and the value it has delivered to so many great brands.”
Busch’s first stint behind the wheel of the No. 8 NASCAR Chevy will be at the LA Coliseum for the non-point paying Clash, which will take place on February 5th, 2023. His first point-paying race will be the 2023 Daytona 500 on February 19th, 2023.

I won’t be as happy to see Kyle hit the wall in a Chevy, but I’ll still be happy.
Another great driver to help get some more bowtie wins.
Right on!
Glad to see the sponsors are getting onboard! Go#8!!!😀 Have a great season!
Last time i saw Childress and Busch together, Childress had him in a headlock punching the he’ll out him for wrecking his cars.
He can now wreck them for him as an employee….Busch is an idiot and it matters not what he drives.
What are your NASCAR credentials to make such a comment? Kyle has over 200 combined wins in Cup, Infinity and Trucks. I bet you don’t even have one? You probably drive a Prius!😂
You are an idiot if you don’t realize what a badass, gifted, driver that Kyle is! The guy can drive anything!!!!
That was good. Lack of credentials hit him hard , lol.
Fact is Kyle Busch is a and can be a prick but that prick can drive a damn car. And I don’t think it’s going to matter what he drives, even a tricycle, he’s going to be a force to reckon with. He’s simply got talent. Like him or Hate him, don’t matter he is badass behind the wheel
I thought Kurt was super annoying, than Kyle came along. Nothing makes me happier (and all the fans if you watch races) than to see Kyle hit the wall. Also he’s been pretty lame the last couple of years.
That’s a bit cold considering what happened to Kurt this year. It’s ok to dislike a driver but to root for Kyle to wreck is downright sick.
You need to hit the english book!!!It’s “then” not “than” learn how to speak before you wish harm on other people!!!!
Some of you people and the comments y’all make about Kyle Busch are whacked
I concur. KB is more of a racer than a wrecker. You Want to talk about idiots? Look at the 1, or 22, or …
I agree. The #22 is a very dirty racer. Think back to the last race “Cousin Karl” raced. Karl had it in the bag for the Championship, until Joey, took him out on purpose, on the final restart. That’s why Karl retired. Didn’t want to keep putting his life on the line around idiots like Joey. Kyle has nothing on Joey’s driving style. One has to keep away from the #22 car at all costs.
Like him or hate him the man can wheel a race car. Childress and Chevrolet will definitely be racking up some wins this year! As with all the drivers in all series of racing, I wish for a safe season to all!
