Here’s When 2024 Cadillac XT6 Production Will Start

The 2024 Cadillac XT6 represents the fifth model year of the first generation of Cadillac’s largest crossover, and is scheduled to receive a mid-cycle refresh, with styling revisions and interior updates. Now, GM Authority has exclusively learned when 2024 model-year production of the midsize luxury crossover will kick off.
GM Authority has learned from sources close to the matter that the start of regular production (SORP) of the 2024 Cadillac XT6 is currently scheduled for June 2023.
One of the more recent developments for the Cadillac XT6 was related to the GM Super Cruise (RPO code UKL) expansion. In November 2022, GM Authority reported that GM’s hands-free driving technology was receiving an update that allowed expanded coverage on more than 400,000 miles of roads in North America. Unfortunately, the XT6 was relegated to a much smaller, 20,000-mile update.
For those wondering why the three-row crossover didn’t get the full expansion, the explanation is straightforward. The XT6 wasn’t designed using GM’s Global B software architecture – or Vehicle Intelligence Platform. This means that the mid-size luxury crossover is unable to exploit the full capabilities of the expanded coverage of Super Cruise.
As for powertrain, the 2024 Cadillac XT6 is expected to continue on with the same options as last year. This means two engines are available, including the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, which is rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, as well as the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, which is rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. Regardless of engine option, the GM nine-speed automatic transmission is equipped as standard affair, while FWD is standard and AWD is optional.
As for structure, the XT6 rides on the GM C1 platform, while production for the North American market takes place at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.

I currently have the XT-6 Sport totally love the truck but was hoping for a change in the interior so now it’s official there will be no change…. Peace out Cadillac keep china happy…
Personally I don’t like the look of the current model. I hope for their sake the new design improves dramatically.
Let me try to understand this. The entry level XT4 will receive a major interior refresh but the larger much more expensive XT6 will soldier on in 2024 with old technology like an 8 inch touchsceen and a non-digital instrument cluster. I guess Cadillac wants to continue trailing the competition in sales. This company is so poorly run its scary. We learned a few weeks ago the new generation ICE XT5 will be China only and now this. Even the entry level 2024 Chevy Trax will have a digital instrument cluster and a much larger touchscreen than the XT6. Its a shame because i think the exterior of the XT6 is beautiful and very premium looking. Cadilllac wants to be an all EV division but is the public and the electrical landscape ready for this? GM and Cadillac wants to put all their eggs in one basket. No hybrid options lets just go all Electric! Unreal!
One other thing, does GM management read posts from this site? I hope they will and make the same changes to the XT6 as they will do to the XT4 for 2024.
I was expecting a true style refresh with the upcoming 2024 XT6 . This article bursts that notion.
I currently drive an XT5 and was planning to buy a “refreshed” XT6 when they became available this summer. If there is no interior and exterior updates, I’m pretty sure I’ll be changing brands. Very disappointing.
I agree with Steve. It’s ridiculous that the 24 XT6 doesn’t get any type of exterior refresh or the new interior. When the Escalade was refreshed with the new huge digital screen, Cadillac had stated all models will be getting that screen. Well, so far just the all new Lyiriq has that. The 24 XT4 will get it, but the larger XT5 and XT6 doesn’t? It makes zero sense! It’s as if they don’t care at all that there will practically be zero sales of those vehicles.
I’ve driven an Enclave Avenir for the last 6 years; two in fact, a 2019 and my current 2o21. I was looking hard at a XT6 for my next car. Based on recent developments I think I should look elsewhere or at least wait another year.
xt6 changes 2024 yes
We currently have 2 xt6 sports 2020/2021 We both like them alot but its time to update the dash board area 8″screen is already out of date. Need digital dash also. At the end of the year will be time for trade in lease. If the dash looks the same i wont get another one. I dont want the lyric also electric. I get family discount but dont want the same suv from 2020 to 2024 same interior same layout. No way
I see that the comments are from early 2023 and late 2022 This is my first comment however, am I reading something different then other people? The first paragraph states, “The 2024 Cadillac XT6 represents the fourth model year of the first generation of Cadillacs largest crossover and is scheduled to receive a mid-cycle refresh, with styling revisions and interior updates”.
Wake up Cadillac i have been waiting for the same updates interior.
I already planned for everything Sport Edition Polished Aluminum Wheels all the geeat options and Aniline Leather Red Tintcoat.
You Managers at Cadillac are not listening or see no no need to please your customers. Wow. No 2924 for me need some change in Management. Greg
I currently drive a 2022 XT6 and I like the car ok but it is nothing special. It has nothing to set it apart from the other cars especially for the price they are charging. Its small, its interior is just not roomy and there is no “cadillac” feel to the car at all. Needs updating and refreshing.
