I’ve had peeling paint on my metallic blue 86 Camaro , white 89 Astro Van, white 95 Silverado pickup after they said they fixed the problem in 93? I’m guessing GM doesn’t care?
In ’86 GM had PPG paints formulate a water based paint, they actually had it piped in from the PPG plant that was built off-site, the PPG plant was demolished since GM quit using a paint that peeled, my ’86 pick-up peeled big-time on the hood, they scuffed it and painted it, terrible job !
