2022 Acadia
- SLE – $36,195

- AT4 – $42,795

2023 Acadia
- SLE – $38,195

The 2022 GMC Acadia received a bevy of changes, including the deletion of the base SL, with the SLE now being the entry-level trim. In addition, the 2.5L four-cylinder LCV engine was ditched in the 2022 Acadia, and so was the five-passenger seating option that was previously available on the Acadia AT4 trim.
The 2023 GMC Acadia arrives with minimal changes over the previous year. In addition, a mandatory $1,500 three-year OnStar and Connected Services plan was been added to all Acadia trim levels. On top of that was an initial $200 price increase and a more recent $300 bump.
A next-generation GMC Acadia is on the way for the 2024 model year. Furthermore, GM recently confirmed that the new Acadia will be bigger than the current model, corroborating an exclusive GM Authority report originally published in August 2020. The upcoming third-generation Acadia will debut as a full-size crossover, as compared to the midsize dimensions of the current second-gen model. When the first-gen Acadia originally launched in 2007, it was offered as a full-size three-row model, with the second-gen model downsizing an entire size segment, both inside and out.
During a presentation given at the recent GM Investor Day event, GM President Mark Reuss addressed future product plans for the Acadia, stating, “Alongside the Traverse, we’ll move the GMC Acadia to a little bit different size standpoint. This comes in a little bigger than the old Acadia, so it’s a big transformation for GMC and its part of the market.”
In July we spied the 2024 GMC Acadia prototype undergoing testing and initially testing in February, giving us a good look at its exterior proportions. We can already see that the upcoming model has a more upright stance reminiscent of the GMC Yukon full-size SUV. More recently, we captured the first spy photos of the upcoming 2024 GMC Acadia interior, revealing a new center stack and infotainment screen configuration. Additionally, the 2024 Acadia will include the option to equip it with the vaunted GM Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system.
Production of the 2023 GMC Acadia started at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee on June 10th, 2022. The online configurator tool is now live for the 2023 Acadia.
Production of the upcoming all-new 2024 GMC Acadia is scheduled to begin in January of the 2024 calendar year.
