GM Pickup Truck Sales Up Three Percent During Q3 2022

GM pickup truck sales increased in the United States, Canada, and Mexico during the third quarter of 2022.

GM truck sales are comprised of the following models:

It’s worth noting that not all of the above are available across all three North American markets. For instance, the Hummer EV Pickup is a brand new model with no historic sales data that’s currently only available in the U.S. Meanwhile, the all-new 2023 Chevy S10 Max is only available in Mexico, while the current GMC Canyon is not available in that market, though GM will introduce the next-generation 2023 GMC Canyon in Mexico for the first time ever. Recently, GM also officially confirmed the all-new 2024 Chevy Montana compact pickup for Mexico.

Additionally, the Silverado is sold in Mexico under the Silverado name for the Work Truck and Custom trim levels and under the Cheyenne name for the LT trim level and above, including RST, ZR2, and High Country.

Cumulative deliveries of GM pickup trucks in the United States increased three percent to 199,933 units in Q3 2022, comprised of:

  • 117,198 units of the Chevy Silverado, a decrease of five percent compared to 123,067 units sold in Q3 2021, and
