There has been much speculation surrounding the 2024 Corvette E-Ray, with enthusiasts and prospective buyers itching to learn more about upcoming C8 variant. Now, GM Authority has learned what the future Corvette hybrid will look like, as well as new exterior paint jobs and interior colorways.
In photos submitted to our inbox, we see multiple 2024 C8 E-Ray Vettes conceptualized on a visualizer, which allows us to gleen all types of details. Most notably, these Corvettes are rocking body-colored trim pieces and the Z06 widebody, hinting that the E-Ray may be positioned in a similar fashion to that of the C7 Grand Sport. An E-Ray nameplate badge is mounted on the lower rear quarter panel, while outboard exhaust tips are seen out back.
As for rollers, there are four five-spoke aluminum wheels and three carbon fiber wheel designs to choose from, as well as two wheel caps motifs.
Moving onto exterior and interior options, we see that Coupe models have the choice between a body-colored or transparent roof. Meanwhile, all E-Ray Vettes have the option to select one of three interior trim packages, which include the Stealth, Carbon Fiber Level 1 and Carbon Fiber Level 2 packages.
In the case of colors options, we see 13 exterior hues and 10 interior colorways. The 2024 Corvette introduces a few new exterior colors and interior colorways to replace older options:

- Hypersonic Gray

It’s worth noting that these leaked images confirm an earlier GM Authority report that the 2024 Corvette E-Ray will be available in both Coupe and Convertible configuration.
As a quick reminder, the Corvette hybrid will featured the same 6.2L LT2 V8 found in the C8 Stingray, with a supplemental, independently controlled electric motor up front. The LT2 V8 produces 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque in standard specification, while the electric motor is expected to deliver around 100 horsepower. This would bring the E-Ray’s total output to roughly 600 horsepower, placing it between the entry-level Stingray model, yet below the high-performance Z06 track monster.

I like the paint without all the black pieces. Makes it look much more expensive. I like the AWD Hybrid idea and wonder if it will include a plug-in option.
You have thousands of potential customers who want the C8 or Z06’s and yet those same customers wait to get either one is still 1-3+ years….and GM makes a decision to move ahead with EV battery and EV plants.
What am I missing here?
What you are missing is the government is mandating all vehicles need to be green by 2035. The auto industry is being financially incentivized to produce EVs period. GM is pushing to have 80-90% of their fleet EV by 2025. I am one of those people you mentioned on the list for a Z06. The dealer told me I most likely will never get one and suggested I put my deposit on an EV Corvette when it is announced. I just read an article today that the Jeep Cherokee plant is being shut down in Feb 2023 because it is too expensive to operate. They are investing 31 billion to build a plant to produce electric vehicles. As I mentioned in a comment above the country is not ready to be green.
European Union bans all ICE vehicles by 2035
Yep and over the years they always take a little item that costs more one year and the next it’s either dropped or added into the cost. On the E-Ray the car is painted a solid color on the base car it’s a $1000 to get those things painted the same color as the car. Your point exactly one dealer is telling me we can deliver in about 6 months at sticker but a used one is $$$ over the sticker just how did that happen? Lots of orders though not as many for the original car now they are bringing 2-3 more who’s running the asylum?
“leaked”….. more likely an intentional “worst kept secret” gambit done to create buzz.
So I guess even though the DIE HARD fans won’t buy this thing it will sell and dealers will continue to ad $$$ to the sticker with no repercussions. Same old questions how much and how long to get it.
Looks like anybody that wants a Corvette with a V8 needs to get one and hold onto it ’cause new ones will be gone E-RAY is the beginning of the end
I love my 2023 Red Mist convertible, “70 Edition,” with the great wall of buttons.
The E-Ray is not for me, but I welcome it for everyone, who is into Hybrid or electric.
What will it cost?
The bean counters are passing us by.
Getting so turned off by GM. Unfortunately they will sell the hell out of any of these C8’s but just built and make the dam Stingray readily available to the average working man as promised before you move on to more variants that we still won’t be able to get and without being hit over the head @ $20K over..smh. Started out with a great thing and turned into a circus. I for one don’t want anything that bad to play these games I’m out!!
