GMC Hummer EV Pickup customers have a few interesting options when it comes to speccing their all-electric off-roader for an extra dash of custom flair, but now, GM Authority has learned that the 2023 model year will introduce a new upgrade for even more visual impact.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the 2023 GMC Hummer EV Pickup will offer a new option dubbed the Sport Package, which is will be tagged with RPO code PCP and will be available as an LPO-level upgrade, meaning it will be installed by the dealer, rather than at the factory when the vehicle is initially produced.
The new Sport Package for the 2023 GMC Hummer EV Pickup will add several interesting aesthetic components for both the exterior and interior, including (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- Front and rear splash guards (VQK)
- Sport Pedal Cover Package (SBZ)
- Emblems in Performance Red (RIK)
- Front and rear D-Ring Recovery Hook in Performance Red (ULK)
Pricing for the new Sport Package is currently unavailable. At the moment, the 2023 GMC Hummer EV Pickup is available in EV3X trim, as well as the range-topping Edition 1 trim, at least for the time being.

Tagged with RPO code PCU, the new 3X Launch Package includes all the features of the Extreme Off-Road Package, as well as a few other bits and pieces. As a reminder, the GMC Hummer EV Pickup offers a variety of different powertrain options, with the range-topping Edition 1 running a tri-motor setup good for upwards of 1,000 horsepower, blessing the rig with a run to 60 mph in just 3 seconds and an estimated range-per-charge of 329 miles. All model variants are equipped with GM’s Ultium battery and Ultium drive motor technology, while the GM BT1 platform provides the underpinnings. Production takes place at the GM Factory Zero facility in Michigan.
