2023 Corvette Z06 Now Available With Body-Color Exterior Accents

The 2023 Corvette Z06 currently stands as GM’s most track-focused production vehicle yet. With a wide array of options available to even further increase performance, or add a visual / personal touch, the C8 Z06 offers something for (arguably) everyone. Now, prospective customers have the ability to choose another option, this time related to exterior accents.
An international-market 2023 Corvette Z06 in Amplify Orange Metallic with body-colored accents
The 2023 C8 Z06 can now be ordered with body-colored (RPO code EFY) exterior accents. This new cosmetic option costs $995 and features:
- Body-colored side vents
- Front grille accents
- Rear grille accents
- Body-colored tonneau grille (applicable to Z06 Convertible models only)
It’s worth noting that the EFY package can’t be order on Z06 models painted in Black (color code GBA), White Pearl Metallic Tricoat (G1W) or Carbon Flash Metallic (GAR). In fact, the G1W and GAR paint hues are only available with the 70th Anniversary Special Edition package.

The 2023 Z06 has received several new visual accent options as of late. While this newest package is body-colored, the Z06 has also received a few carbon fiber pieces, including a Visible Carbon Fiber spoiler (5V5) and Visible Carbon Fiber door intake trims (RYQ).
As a reminder, demand for the all-new Corvette Z06 has been high while the supply has been low. As a result, orders have been restricted as GM attempts to clear production constraints. However, the outlook has been improving as of late, as GM began accepting orders for the high-performance track monster again back in November 2022.
Under the hood, the 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 features the naturally-aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine. This high-revving screamer develops 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and is mated to the eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Under the skin, the 2023 Z06 rides on the GM Y2 platform, which underpins all C8 Corvette models. Meanwhile, production takes place exclusively at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

Forget the fluff get the cars to the public.
Body color > black
Ordered my 2021 C8 convertible in Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic (waaaay too many words for a color, GM) with all exterio trim being body colored and no black. (Corvette Mods even makes body colored mud flaps to protect the lower panels.) Sky cool gray interior. Added silver longitudinal racing stripes to complement the sterling wheels.
Now people notice the car’s beautiful sculptural shape…instead of being distracted all the black-bling googaas stuck everywhere to please the carbon fiber addicts.
