Chevrolet Performance is offering the iconic COPO Camaro with the ZZ632 engine, a monster motor throwing down some serious naturally aspirated firepower. Now, we’re getting another look at the ZZ632-equipped 2023 COPO Camaro with the following photo gallery.
For those readers who may be unaware, the 2023 COPO Camaro can trace its roots back to 1969, when Chevy dealers found a loophole in the Central Office Production Order (COPO) system to outfit the Chevy Camaro with a 427 V8, creating a hugely powerful setup that dominated at the drag strip. The 2023 COPO Camaro continues this theme by offering up the ZZ632, currently the largest and most powerful engine that Chevrolet Performance has ever made.
Originally unveiled in October of the 2021 calendar year, the ZZ632 is rated at a maximum of 1,004 horsepower and 876 pound-feet of torque, and certainly looks great under the hood of the 2023 COPO Camaro. As one of three engines offered, 2023 COPO Camaros running the ZZ632 will also be available with an exclusive color and graphics package, as seen here.
The exterior paint is dubbed Vivid Orange Metallic, and is tagged with paint code GCF, while unique striping and accents, new badging, and new lighting treatments enhance the look further. Pricing for 2023 COPO Camaro models equipped with the ZZ632 Big Block start at $135,900.
Critically, Chevrolet Performance is also offering the 2023 COPO Camaro with the supercharged 350 cubic-inch V8 and naturally aspirated 427 cubic-inch V8. The supercharged 350 is NHRA rated at 600 horsepower, while the atmospheric 427 is NHRA rated at 470 horsepower. The ZZ632 is currently not NHRA rated. Output from all three powertrains is directed through an ATI Racing Products TH400 three-speed automatic transmission with a Hurst Quarterstick shifter. All three models also include a weight box, dual batteries, carbon fiber intake, and a parachute.
Pricing for models with the 427 start at $126,420, while pricing for models with the supercharged 350 start at $141,225.

She’s a brut, Clark.
Now, why not upgrade the 6.2L and the turbo 4 cylinder in the base, RS, and SS camaro?
It’s a screamer and will be a collector’s item. A+
I’m so in!! This is 2023 badass options. Still withing the affordable price range with some of the goodies. Parts are where they will get you $$$$$.
Mostly agree with TNTSilvy. The mfg’s all suck and have left street legal combustion performance to wither. It belongs to the mainstream, not the collector or lux crowd.
I NEED one!
One word describes it! Domination!!! Can you imagine how this thing will pull on the big end!!!
I can’t stop crying! It’s THE car, and I’m a Truck guy…I should have a car too, no?
oh heck bud
No mention of a rollcage in that car; going to need one to make it NHRA legal.
I think you better [email protected]@k at the pics. It even shows the window net. Have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS
Drop that motor in a ZL1 1LE and watch 7 seconds disappear off the Nurburgring time.
It would be great if GM would launch the best cars first to boost sales during the run instead of special editions before they kill them for lackluster sales!
