Notably, this is the second month of price increases for the 2023 Tahoe thus far. Back in early September, the MSRP of all 2023 Chevy vehicles, including the Tahoe, rose $300 as a result of the standard three-year Remote Access plan. Then, in late September, the prices rose much more drastically. LS and LT models saw an MSRP rise of $1,400, while Premier and High Country trims rose $1,000. Additionally, Z71 and RST trim levels increased $500 when equipped with either the 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine or 3.0L I6 LM2 engine, or $505 when equipped with the 6.2L V8 L87 engine.
As far as powertrains goes, the 2023 Tahoe is available with three engine options. The first option is the atmospheric 5.3L V8 L84, which produces 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, and is followed by the atmospheric 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine pushing out 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The final engine option is the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine, which develops 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
As for structure, the 2023 Chevy Tahoe rides on the GM T1 platform, while production takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

Anyone remember the GM program back in the 70’s that allowed employees to go to the assembly plant and pick up their new cars that they ordered? I had a cousin who picked up his new Chevy at the plant, he worked at a different GM plant.
My recollection is that all cars went thru a dealer. Never remember anyone picking up at a assembly plant.
If you live in Dallas you’ll still pay $1895 for transportation from Arlington. $100 per mile approximately.
Same here, my Silverado was built just up the road in Ft. Wayne
