The latest hike in Suburban pricing follows two separate price increases in September. Early that month, Suburbans LS and LT trim levels rose by $1,400. Additionally, pricing for Z71 and RST trims increased by $500 when equipped with either the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine or 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine, while Z71 and RST trim levels available with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine rose $505.
That first price increase was followed by a second one, where all Chevy Suburban trims rose $300 by with the addition of the three years of Remote Access plan.
Under the skin, the 2023 Chevy Suburban rides on the GM T1 platform, which it shares with the Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon, GMC Yukon XL, Cadillac Escalade and Cadillac Escalade ESV. Meanwhile production takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
