SiriusXM Satellite Radio Free In GM Vehicles Until December 5th, 2022

SiriusXM is running a Thanksgiving promotion now through December 5th, 2022. Vehicles with SiriusXM satellite radio-capable sound systems can now listen for free.

Running from November 23rd to December 25th, owners of Chevy, GMC, Buick and Cadillac vehicles with compatible radios can listen to SiriusXM for free, with no subscription or activation required. Additionally, reduced rates are available for a limited time.

This promotion features more than 100 channels. However, paid subscriptions still get access to more content. Subscribers get more than 155 in-car channels and more than 400 channels on the SXM App.

It’s worth noting that this offer isn’t limited to just GM vehicles. As a SiriusXM promotion, it’s applicable towards any compatible vehicle.

This promotion comes on the heels of other SiriusXM developments. Last year, the 2022 Chevy Bolt EV and 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV both received SiriusXM with 360L as standard affair. The satellite radio service was previously only offered for the Chevy Bolt EV, and only as an option.

Additionally, the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer and 2022 GMC Terrain also received SiriusXM as standard.

Overall, SiriusXM availability across all GM products has been rising. In GM Canada specifically, there has been a push to increase the prevalence of the satellite radio option. GM Canada customers that purchase or lease a new or certified pre-owned vehicle with SiriusXM hardware will receive a three-month trial subscription to SiriusXM All Access. The company says All-Access is its most “extensive” offering, featuring live sports (including every NFL, MLB and NBA game and every NASCAR race), Howard Stern and SiriusXM’s wide variety of commercial-free music, talk programming, and comedy channels.

GM was among the first automakers to begin factory installing SiriusXM hardware in its vehicles and has since produced more than three million SiriusXM-equipped vehicles. With these developments, the satellite radio company’s services will feature even more prominently in future GM products.

for me, the added cost per-month, to listen in one car, not worth it.
Sirius has a weak to non existent plan for multi vehicle plans.

  3. If you negotiate with SXM, you’ll save a ton of money. They sent me a bill for $131.04 for 6 months service, and my wife negotiated it to $35.99. That’s $21.84 per month down to $6.00 per month. It helps to be kind but firm.

    1. You don’t even need to negotiate… their automated phone system gave me the same deal when I called to cancel.
