Chevy Bolt EUV Pricing
For reference, here are the 2022 and 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV trim levels with their corresponding starting MSRPs, $995 destination freight charge included:
2022 Bolt EUV
- LT – $34,495
- Premier – $38,995
2023 Bolt EUV
- LT – $28,195
- Premier – $32,695
Like the Bolt EV, the Bolt EUV also rides on the GM BEV2 platform and utilizes the same single-drive electric motor, which produces 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, fed by the 65 kWh lithium-ion battery, which provides 247 miles of range per charge. For those who are unfamiliar with the product line, the Bolt EUV recently entered the market for the 2022 model year and was unveiled alongside the refreshed 2022 Chevy Bolt EV as its slightly larger sibling.
The all-new 2022 Bolt EUV features a similar, though not identical design to the smaller Bolt EV. The most substantial differences include a more upright hood, a different C-pillar treatment, and a longer wheelbase.
The 2023 Bolt EUV receives a new Redline Edition, set apart by its black and red Bolt EUV badge on the rear hatch, along with its red accent decals on the outside mirror caps. It also comes standard with a set of 17-inch gloss black painted aluminum wheels with red accents. The Redline Edition package can be ordered with the Bolt EUV in the LT trim level, or the well-equipped Premier. A Jet black leather interior with red accent stitching is available on both trim levels.
GM is planning to produce 70,000 new Chevy Bolts next year. The automaker will boost Bolt production for global markets to 70,000 units in 2023 from roughly 44,000 units for 2022.
Production for the 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV began at the GM Lake Orion plant in Michigan on July 26th, 2022. The online configurator tool is now live for the 2023 Bolt EUV.

Huh I would guess dealers are not adding thousands of added dealer rip-off on these.
Since I haven’t found a dealer who actually has one. I can’t tell if they will try to rip you off with some added feature. Nevertheless, this isn’t a new feature exclusive to GM dealers. Many try this tactic on a number of car sales.
What a drag the GM would penalize the few early adapters that bought an EUV in August of 2021. Our resale value or trade in value are affected as anyone elses who bought after the sale freeze went into effect.
Yup dont feel too bad there were people who had their Bolt burn and got maybe half what they paid from their insurance and gm told them to pound sand and they still had a fat note to pay off and had to go buy a beater to get around.
GM is retroactively giving money back to people who bought before the discount. My friend just received a check and I have confirmed this with our local GM dealer.
First, very few caught fire. Second, I haven’t heard of anyone being told to pound sand unless they abused the car and caused it to catch fire. Third, GM offered a buyback or trade in on all Bolts. Fourth, Everyone I know got a reasonable deal. Fifth, I have never had a problem w I th my 2018 Bolt and I got a brand new battery from GM at no cost to me at 85 K miles. Most all Bolts ever made got that offer from GM of a new battery. It was a full new warranted battery and I’m very satisfied with the car .This is the reason it is hard to find or you have to wait on the 2022 model. Replacing batteries and the supply chain bin general has set them back.
Isn’t GM allowing you to get that bonus back, retroactively? I read an article about it.
I was pretty shocked.
Budlar: With so few cars that burned, that is shocking! Both of these short sighted GM replys loose customers directly and indirectly.
Mr. Mike: Please send a link to the article. GM concierge said the ‘rebate’ was only available for 2022 purchases.
Yes. They are.
I think you would be crazy to buy a 2022, when the 2023 is out at the same price
Go to a dealer and try to buy one. They don’t have any. You can border one and wait in line. My local dealership has been waiting for months. They ordered 30.
I ordered a ’23 EUV on July 2. Waited patiently 4 months and it never came in. I canceled my order and got my deposit refunded. Then I found a one owner ’22 Nissan Leaf SVPlus with just 5,200 miles and bought it instead. Having the EUV would have been great but I do love my Nissan.
for me to buy a 2022 , knowing the 2023 is the same price, they would have to knock off at least 10 thousand on a 2022
They probably won’t have a 2022 to sale you until I l 2023. Not sure when you will be able to buy and receive the 2023. Big GM problem.
Good luck. I’m tired of calling every dealer within 125 miles over and over only to be told they don’t have one and won’t any time this year. I guess I’ll try to find a Nissan Leaf…
That is correct. They are all back ordered. If you buy you’ll have to wait for months.
On inbound EUV. Reedman Toll in Langhorne Pa wanted $4000.00 over window sticker that email to me.
Sale Manager relaid a message to by the salesman “that it would be fair to other 13 salesman to sell it to me at MSRP “. What does sell a car to me have to do with the other salesman was never answer.
I purchase a Lexus, will never walk into a GM dealership again. Mr Toll enjoy it now because I love sharing my experience with your dealership as I display my Lexus to friends and co-workers.
There is a difference between a dealer and a manufacturer. There are bad dealerships of every car. Including Lexus.
I had a dealer call me last month to tell me my 2023 bolt euv was there and when could I be there, he was selling at sticker, but I told him to go ahead and sell it to someone else , because I cant take it till Jan 2nd so I can get the tax credit
Well, I have a 2023 Bolt EUV and so happy to get at the reduced price this year, NO market adjustment, sticker deal. We put in an order with $500 refundable deposit on a 2023, and were set to wait until it came possibly in late October or early November.
Then, same dealer, had one come in for another customer who turned it down and the first one to dealer ready to sign and drive got it, ME!!!! Since our deposit was already there, our salesperson who was our “eyes and ears” transferred the deposit at our request to the “present” EUV, and we arrived 10 min later to sign docs.
So very happy with our 2023 Bolt EUV, and already have saved over $1750 in gasoline purchases, and while the temptation to wait until new year to get tax credit was there, so was the talk of GM raising MSRP after Jan 1,2023 because the price cut was literally to attract those that were sour the rebates on GM ev’s were at quota. My grandpa always said, bird in the hand is worth more than 2 in the bush 😉.
Over 200hp, sport mode smooths the OPD breaking, and included level 2 charger as well as the install of the outlet, and the best part, at least here in AZ, I am getting over 260 miles avg and my top was 296 on a single charge 🤩
So about that whole EV credit bringing the price to under 20k?
If you mean the 7500 dollars tax credit, you will get the full 7500 when you do your 2023 taxes , if you owe 7500 in taxes or more, if you only owe 500 dollars, then you get a 500 dollar tax credit. One time deal , no carry overs
Can I just order the 2023 bolt from the manufacturer. If so where at if I need to go to a dealership is there one in jersey city New Jersey because they have a special also with this deal
I am a bit confused. After January 3rd, the offer to reduce the cost of the 2022 models disappears. What then happens to the price of the 2023 models after January 3rd? Are they maintaining the MSRP after January 3rd.
Chevrolet! Tell me I can’t buy one in northwestern Montana. Not in Missoula, not in my Kalispell, nowhere as the dealers don’t care. Perhaps I can get by a Nissan leaf? I would prefer a Bolt.
