The GM Authority Take

Chevrolet Brazil sales continued their positive performance thanks to the healthy increase in October, which represents the seventh consecutive monthly sales gain for the brand in the Brazilian market. Chevrolet has managed to maintain strong sales volume in Brazil with an average of some 29,000 units in the last three months and a peak of 30,558 deliveries in August, the brand’s best monthly sales performance in the last two years.

Chevrolet’s overwhelmingly positive performance last month in Brazil was once again led by the Chevy Onix, the best-selling car in the country and throughout South America. In fact, the Onix represents more than half of Chevrolet Brazil sales. The subcompact car range continues to improve its performance in Brazil thanks to a significant recovery in inventory.

In addition, the Chevy Tracker also delivered outstanding results with 8,496 units, which represents its best monthly performance. The results cement the Tracker as the best-selling crossover in the country.

It is also worth noting the solid performance of the Chevy Spin in October, during which time the small MPV was once again the model with the highest growth rate within the Bow Tie’s lineup. The Spin’s 1,736 deliveries enabled it displace the S10 pickup as Brazil’s third best-selling Chevy in October.
