The 2023 Corvette Z06 has amassed a huge amount of interest since Chevy first revealed the high performance machine. Many fans, enthusiasts and prospective buyers have been itching to see Chevy’s new track monster in all its colors and configurations. Previously, GM Authority photographers captured an Arctic White Coupe without the track-focused Z07 package, as well as an Arctic White Coupe with the Z07 package intended for a foreign market. Today, our eagle-eyed shooters captured a domestic-spec Arctic White C8 Z06 Convertible with the Z07 treatment.
The model seen here is the 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 hardtop Convertible (as opposed to the Coupe) in Arctic White (Color Code G1W) equipped with the optional Z07 Performance Package, which includes the following content (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):
- Four-wheel antilock, four-wheel disc, carbon ceramic brakes (J57)
- Dark Gray Metallic-painted calipers (J6D)
- Z07 suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control (FE7)
- 275/30ZR20 front and 345/25ZR21 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R ultra performance tires (XFS)
Regardless, the Z07 package on the C8 Z06 also requires one of the following:
- Carbon Flash-painted carbon fiber ground effects (CFZ) and Carbon Flash-painted carbon fiber high wing rear spoiler (T0F)
- Visible carbon fiber ground effects (CFV) and visible carbon fiber high wing rear spoiler (T0G)
This model is equipped with the first option – Carbon Flash-painted carbon fiber aero bits. The ensemble rides on a set of optional five-spoke carbon fiber wheels (ROY), while the optional Black exhaust tips (NGA) can be seen out back. Interestingly, this particular example is missing the rear spoiler, yet still retains the base installation mounts on the rear deck. Additionally, the nacelles (convertible sides) are finished in Carbon Flash as well.
It’s worthing noting that the 2023 Corvette introduces a new color, White Pearl Metallic Tricoat (color code G1W), which is only available with the 70th Anniversary Special Edition package (Y70). Given that this example isn’t a 70th anniversary model, we can deduce that it is adorned in the standard-issue Arctic White hue.
For the 2023 Corvette Z06, the Arctic White hue is available in conjunction with all but one interior colorway.
Available interior colorways:
- Jet Black
- Sky Cool Gray
- Adrenaline Red
- Adrenaline Red Dipped
- Natural
- Natural Dipped
- Tension Blue/ Twilight Blue Dipped
Not available interior colorways:
- Ceramic White with Red stitching
Chevy has been struggling with parts constraints stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, and – as GM Authority was the first to report – orders for the 2023 Corvette Z06 have been heavily limited, further adding to the rarity of this desirable performance machine. In fact, the C8 Z06 is currently unavailable to order for the 2023 model year.
As a result of this, among those who were able to place an order, there’s been a huge demand for option-rich builds. As GM Authority reported in September, a majority of 2023 Corvette Z06 buyers are optioning the car to the gills.
As a reminder, the 2023 Corvette Z06 is equipped with the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine rated at 670 horses and 460 pound-feet of torque. Under the skin is the GM Y2 platform that underpins all C8 Corvettes, while production takes place at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

A refreshing look from the boy-racer sky=-crappers attached to the back.
Figure on a base C8 the dealers are marking it up 20 to 30 grand above MSRP basically stealing and of bending customers out of shape like myself not going to pay it not going to allow them to steal they steal enough when they service your vehicle so I guess Z06 is going to be about 40 or 50,000 easily starting to look like it’s being done on purpose after all better way to do it is to limit a person to buying one and if they turn around and sell it no more at least for a given time
Not all dealers mark up 20-30k. I got my 2023 C8 – 2LT, Z51, w/ mag ride and front lift at MSRP with no markup. Ordered then waited about 9 months for delivery.
I was “screwed” out of my new ‘22 ‘Vette when dealer decided to charge >20K delivery “Premium”. One small family emergency later and I’ve to accept the reality I’ll likely never have a new Corvette. 20yrs saving, but I’m sure the dealer was happy with his “premium”. I now know I’m not the only one. Thanks Chevrolet, I’m not bitter or anything!
