The 2023 Corvette is the fourth model year for the mid-engine C8, ushering in several important updates and changes compared to the preceding 2022 model year. Now, GM Authority has learned that the 2023 Corvette is available with the Visible Carbon Fiber High Wing Spoiler aero option.
For those readers who may have missed it, the Visible Carbon Fiber High Wing Spoiler was originally announced for the 2022 Corvette Stingray. However, the piece never actually made it to production due to supplier constraints.
Tagged with RPO code 5V5, the Visible Carbon Fiber High Wing Spoiler is now available for the 2023 Corvette. The piece is offered for 3LT trim levels of the 2023 Corvette Stingray Coupe and Convertible, as well as all trim levels for the 2023 Corvette Z06. Pricing for the piece is set at $6,495.
If the Visible Carbon Fiber High Wing Spoiler is ordered for the 2023 Corvette Stingray in conjunction with the Z51 Performance Package, it deletes the Z51 rear spoiler (RPO code T0A). The Visible Carbon Fiber High Wing Spoiler cannot be ordered for the 2023 Corvette Z06 in conjunction with the Z07 Performance Package, the Carbon Flash-painted carbon fiber aero package (RPO code T0F), or the visible carbon fiber aero package (RPO code T0G).
As for the vehicle specs, the 2023 Corvette Stingray is once again equipped with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine, which is rated at 490 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, the new-for-2023 Corvette Z06 features the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine, which is rated at 670 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. Both models ride on the GM Y2 platform, and both are exclusively produced at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.
Unfortunately, production of the 2023 Corvette Z06 is heavily constrained, as GM Authority exclusively covered in August.

Another piece available for a car that is not.
Aaaha I have been rocking this c/f wing for month now and it’s awesome
I wonder how long it is going to take GM to have all the parts for my order to be accepted to build my fully loaded Z06?
