Earlier this month, GM pulled the sheets off the 2024 Chevy Trax. As the first model year of the second generation subcompact crossover, this redesign brings a bevy of exterior, interior and powertrains upgrades. Now, we’re taking a closer look at all ten available 2024 Chevy Trax paint colors.
Of the ten exterior paint options offered for the 2024 Trax, seven will be included in the price of the vehicle, while three will cost extra. The three extra-charge colors will be Nitro Yellow Metallic, Cayenne Orange Metallic and Fountain Blue. The cost of these extra-cost colors is set at $395.

Blue Glow Metallic is only available on LS and LT trims, while Nitro Yellow Metallic and Cacti Green is available only on 1RS, 2RS and Activ. Fountain Blue is exclusive to the 1RS and 2RS, while Harvest Bronze Metallic is limited to LS, LT and Activ.

As a reminder, the 2024 Chevy Trax represents a complete overhaul of the nameplate for its second generation. The new model will be distinguished by an all-new exterior, with the vehicle being longer, lower, and wider than the preceding model. Up front is a new set of dual-tier headlights, with the squinty top row serving as the Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), with the actual headlamps located just below. The profile is sleek and modern, reminiscent of the aesthetic seen on the 2019 and newer Chevy Blazer.
On the inside, the 2024 Trax will get a more spacious cabin, with an extra three inches of rear legroom and a 12 percent increase in cargo room. Additionally, the Trax will offer more safety features, with multiple advanced safety and driver awareness technologies via Chevy Safety Assist. On top of that, Active Noise Cancelation and Adaptive Cruise Control will be available on most trims. Lower trims will feature an eight-inch diagonal infotainment screen, while LT, 2RS and Activ trims get an 11-inch screen.
Under the hood, the 2024 Chevy Trax will be powered by the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine, the same powerplant found in the Chevy Trailblazer LS and LT trim levels. Output will be rated at 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. This engine will pair with the GM six-speed automatic transmission, feeding the front wheels exclusively. All-wheel drive won’t offered.
Under the skin, the 2024 Chevy Trax will ride on the GM VSS-F vehicle set and is set to go on sale in the spring of 2023.
Pricing for the 2024 Chevy Trax will start at $21,495, destination freight charge included. Notably, the all-new 2024 Chevy Trax will cost less than a 2022 Chevy Trax.

Agree. I was shocked as well.
That Blue could have gone in place of the Nitro Yellow, perhaps Navy Blue would have worked rather than the Neon Colored Blue on the other models.

Nice to see two blue colors included. Too bad though, no Blue is offered on the Active trim which is the best looking in my opinion.
