For those who may be unfamiliar with the product line, the 2021 model year of the Chevy Suburban introduced an all-new twelfth generation for the nameplate, with several new trim levels now included in the lineup – notably, the RST, Z71, and High Country. The latest generational overhaul also includes a new diesel engine option, as well as fresh styling, a redesigned interior, and the latest tech features for comfort, convenience, and safety. There were quite a few changes and updates for the 2022 Chevy Suburban.
The 2023 Chevy Suburban introduces only a handful of updates over the preceding 2022 model, dropping in as the third model year for the latest fifth-generation extended-length full-size SUV nameplate. Notably, the 2023 Suburban also arrives with some pricing changes, upping the bottom line by $500 for all trim levels and configurations. The pricing has increased yet another $300 for nearly all Chevy models for a three-year Remote Access plan that now comes as standard. The 2023 Suburban received another price increase in September, ranging from $500 to $1,400 depending on trim level and powertrain.
Changes for the 2023 Chevy Suburban include the addition of Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist, but currently loses the Enhanced Trailer View feature. It also gets a new Advanced Technology Package that includes GM’s hands-free, semi-autonomous Super Cruise technology.
Production of the 2023 Chevy Suburban kicked off on July 18th, 2022 at the GM Arlington plant in Texas. The online configurator tool is now live for the 2023 Suburban.

When I purchased my first house in 1980 at 50K, I could have never imagined a Suburban would be 75K in my lifetime. Roughly 10 times their cost new in 1980. However, that same house that I bought in 1980 sold 6 months ago for 19 times what I paid for it in 1980!!! Guess I should have held onto it lol Gas seems like a relative bargain now at about 4 times the cost.
Sorry for the ramblings of an old man, that happens to really like Suburbans
