GM just unveiled the all-new 2024 Cadillac Celestiq production vehicle earlier this week, introducing a fresh all-electric flagship sedan replete with high-end features and bespoke options. With so many customization opportunities on offer, Cadillac is providing inspiration via specific design themes, including a theme titled Magnetic.
For those readers who may be unaware, the 2024 Cadillac Celestiq is extremely customizable, with each example hand-built at GM’s Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan. Each Cadillac Celestiq customer will have a chance to tailor their ultra-luxury sedan exactly as they see fit, with colors, materials, and more all available to spec to taste.
With so many options on the table, Cadillac’s design themes provide an excellent starter. The Magnetic design inspiration, for example, incorporates “deep, dark blues and shadowed spaces mediated by brilliant points of light,” drawing from the “beauty and mystery of galactic bodies.”
The exterior of the design inspiration is finished in deep black Caspia paint, with silver Acier Metal trim highlights applied in the front fascia along the lower hood line and in the corners of the broad, rounded bumper. More silver can be found in the profile along the lower side skirts and in the wheels, while a long silver design line reinforces the slope of the roof, leading into the extended rear section.
The interior blends black and blue colors to create an attractive cabin space that’s sure to get noticed. Interior materials include Backen Black Fabric, Haumea Carbon Fiber Decor High Gloss trim, Backen Black Leather, blue Santorini Leather, and Jade Stainless Steel speaker trim.
Production of the 2024 Cadillac Celestiq will remain extremely low, with pricing starting at $300,000. Under the skin, the Cadillac Celestiq rides on the GM BEV3 platform, with a 111 kWh battery pack and two-motor powertrain providing the propulsion. Total system output is estimated at 600 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque.

Too bad I can’t open the pictures. Keeps giving me an error message.
But I can say this looks better in the dark exterior color. At least the back end looks less shocking.
It’s hideous. One of the ugliest things I’ve ever seen on four wheels. Tots will cling to their mother’s leg when this atrocity appears. GM should just square off the back then add a wide hinged door because dead folks won’t be bothered by its appearance. Good Lord! Who designed this abomination? Why not make it pretty? Butt ugly . . . literally.
When I win the Power ball I will order one.
Can I order a stainless steel roof like a 1957 Eldorado Brougham?
Looks like a remake of a Prius. A waste of time and talent.
A sterile hearst.
