New for the 2022 model year is the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing model, introduced as the ultimate high-performance version of the Cadillac CT4-V model, along with minor changes and updates for other trim levels. With regard to trim levels, there are three non-V variants for the 2023 Cadillac CT4, including Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport.
The 2023 Cadillac CT4 arrives with just a handful of changes and updates over the 2022 model, including getting the Driver Assist Package as standard and the addition of a Bronze Accent Package on the CT4 as well as on the CT4-V. However, the 2023 CT4 loses the Diamond Sky Special Edition Package.
Notable changes for the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing are the addition of a new standard vehicle wrap as an alternative to the available enclosed shipping carrier option and the debut of new Track Editions. They are offered in three different iterations, each named after a U.S. race track including the Watkins Glen IMSA Edition, the Sebring IMSA Edition, and the Road Atlanta IMSA Edition.
The Cadillac CT4 is offered with the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine along with the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B, each mated to the GM 10-speed automatic transmission in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing runs the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine. The GM six-speed manual transmission is standard, while the 10-speed auto is optional – both exclusively feeding the rear wheels.
Production of the 2023 Cadillac CT4 began at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan on July 18th, 2022. The online configurator tool is now live for the 2023 CT4 and for the CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing.

This photo of the CT4 with those fancy slit headlights is for China, about time our CT4 got an up-date next year like the CT5 is getting, the present CT4 is getting a bit long in the tooth, love to see annual changes of grille, headlights, tail lights, front and rear bumpers like the American auto companies used to do back in the 1950s,60s, and 70s. Those days they even changed the sheet metal and roof pillars each year. Now, maybe a badge change, or a color change every five years. That is if you are lucky, no wonder the car industry died in Detroit, now we are forced into those square shaped, non aero dynamic slow , no style things called SUVs.
