2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali To Debut On October 20th: Video

After introducing the GMC Hummer EV Pickup and GMC Hummer EV SUV, the Professional Grade brand will debut its third fully electric truck, the upcoming 2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali, on October 20th at 5 PM EST.

To celebrate the Sierra EV’s reveal, GMC has teamed up with livestream video shopping platform NTWRK, which will offer a bunch of rare items during the Day of Drops event on October 20th. The event will culminate with the unveiling of the 2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali pickup truck.

GM released a teaser video of the 2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali back in December 2021, but hasn’t released any more information on the all-electric truck up until now. The new video teaser titled ‘The Denali of EVs’ doesn’t give us much more details, but we can catch a glimpse of the truck’s quilted leather upholstery, panoramic glass roof and front-end lighting animation.

Only the Denali trim level has been announced so far, but lower-priced variants are expected as well. There will also be a Sierra EV Denali Edition 1, which is slated to be available in early 2024 by reservation only. The Sierra EV Denali will be available in the spring of 2024.

“Sierra Denali holds tremendous equity for GMC and our customers,” said GMC vice-president Duncan Aldred. “We now have an opportunity to evolve Sierra’s capabilities and technologies, as afforded by transitioning to all-electric propulsion while also elevating the luxurious design and comfort associated with Denali.”

The 2024 Chevy Silverado EV debuted during the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2022, which will share its BT1 platform, Ultium battery tech and Ultium Drive motors with the Sierra EV. The electric Silverado boasts a maximum driving range of more than 400 miles, an output of up to 664 horsepower and 780 pound-feet with its Wide Open Watts mode activated, DC fast charging at speeds of up to 350 kW, and a towing capacity of 10,000 pounds, or even 20,000 pounds with the Silverado EV WT’s optional max tow package.

The 2024 GMC Sierra EV is expected to be built alongside the GMC Hummer EV and the Silverado EV at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan.

  1. This looks good!!

Wonder if they could put a big curved display on the front and show a virtual grill? You could customize it any way you want or purchase ones you like.

  2. At the 1 second mark it’s a body-colored grill. At the 8 second mark it’s a black grill.

  3. Can’t wait for this to be revealed only for the 60 year old truck owners to be mad that it’s an EV knowing full well they don’t have to buy it.

  4. Is it $100k as well, asking for a friend.

  5. $100k ?

  6. What a joke. Hope it will go more miles on a charge than the Lightening, of course that wouldn’t take very much.

  7. If it looks anything like a Honda Ridgeline I’m gonna lose my FREAKING mind!

    1. Same here, because the Silverado Ev looks just like an Avalanche or a Ridgeline useless.

  8. New Chevrolet ad highlights the beauty of, the fun of riding in, and the constant plugging and unplugging of four new EV models (and one gorgeous babe), but not the dreadful waiting for the batteries to reach 80%.

  9. Their fake grills look like real grills, shrink-wrapped. GM and Ford both set this standard.

  10. Amazing. All the bright lights, sleek styling and unnecessary gadgets they can add on, and huge size, do not impress me. Professional Grade? Ha! GMC is a Chevy they can sell next to a Caddy, and that’s all it’s for. They want way too damn much for the privilege of waiting to charge for hours just to go a couple hundred miles. What if it’s coming an ice storm and you really should be getting your ass home? I want my 4-banger that can go 400+ in five minutes.

    1. That’s 4,800 miles an hour! What do you use for fuel in your 4-banger?
