Those who feel the need to survive a zombie apocalypse or nuclear meltdown in style might want to give the new 2023 Rezvani Vengeance a look.
Based on the 2023 Cadillac Escalade on the GM T1 platform, the 2023 Rezvani Vengeance is the ultimate military/crisis/whatever-you-need all-terrain vehicle. Completely rebodied over its Escalade host model, the Vengeance’s cabin seems to be only slightly modified over that of the Escalade, while the powertrain lineup carries over from the Escalade, including an option for the blown V8 form the Escalade-V.
Standard features include a panoramic sunroof, hands free power tailgate, and a bevy of active safely features like Forward Collision Warning with Automatic Braking. The Cadillac Escalade roots are most obvious inside, as the Vengeance continues with the Escalade’s overall cabin and materials, save for a few rebadged or slightly modified components, including seating for up to eight passengers and Caddy’s signature 38-inch curved OLED display with a navigation system and augmented reality.
However, the options are what make the 2023 Rezvani Vengeance truly eccentric. Some of the more unique features of this Armageddon vehicle can be had via optional packages.
For instance, the $95,000 Military Package includes:
- Bullet proof glass
- A smoke screen
- Military run-flat tires
- Thermal night vision system
- Electromagnetic pulse protection
- Electrified door handles
- Strobe lights
- Magnetic dead bolts
- Pepper spray dispenser
- Optional explosive device detection
The Executive Seating package, meanwhile, is priced at $125,000 and includes:
- Two reclining executive seats with massage, heat, and ventilation
- Driver partition with big screen TV
- Apple TV
- Choice of starry night headliner or overhead light
Finally, the $2,500 Off-Grid Solar package provides a battery that can be continuously charged using sunlight, and can be used for home backup power or off-the-grid applications.
The 2023 Rezvani Vengeance includes the three engine options currently offered in the 2023 Escalade, including the standard 6.2L V8 L87 rated at 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque and the optional 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel making 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 from the Escalade-V churns out 682 horses and 653 pound-feet. All three motors are mated to GM’s ten-speed automatic transmission.
As expected, all of these distinctive options come with a hefty price premium. The 2023 Rezvani Vengeance starts just under $250,000, and equipping the Vengeance with the Military package, the Executive Seating package and the LT4, will cost an eye-watering $594,000. When equipped with every option available, this ultimate all-terrain vehicle has an MSRP just under $650,000.
