The 2023 Corvette C8 looks awesome, and now, customers that want to keep it looking awesome for years to come can do exactly that with this new indoor car cover.
Tagged with RPO code VRZ, this new accessory is officially dubbed the Premium Indoor Car Cover in Black with Embossed 70th Anniversary Logo. The car cover is available for both the 2023 Corvette C8 Stingray and 2023 Corvette C8 Z06 models, and is offered as an LPO-level / dealer-installed accessory. Note that the cover will not fit Corvette Z06 models with the optional Z07 Performance Package.
The new car cover is currently not listed at the official 2023 Corvette C8 configurator, but is expected to be priced at $460.
The Premium Indoor Car Cover in Black with Embossed 70th Anniversary Logo is designed to protect the exterior surface of the 2023 Corvette C8 and is custom made to fit the vehicle’s lines perfectly. The cover is for indoor use only, and will protect the exterior from dust and debris. What’s more, the cover features an embossed 70th Anniversary logo to give it a special touch.
The car cover also includes a storage bag. Customers can keep the car cover clean by using a vacuum and / or damp cloth to make sure any debris, dust, or dirt is removed. Installing the cover on the Chevy Corvette C8 is easy, and GM recommends that customers start by covering the mirrors first, followed by the front and rear bumpers as the last steps.
As a reminder, the 2023 Corvette C8 is available with two engine options, with the C8 Stingray equipped with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine, and the C8 Z06 equipped with the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6. Both models ride on the GM Y2 platform, and both are produced at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

Awesome, Chevy Corvette!
When I first glanced over the article I thought to myself “How nice, gm is giving all of the 2023 Corvette buyers a commemorative cover”. It was only when I read deeper into the story that I realized that gm is copying the Porsche ordering playbook and nickel and dime the customers for everything that they could squeeze out of their pockets.
