2023 Chevy Bolt EV Gets New Radiant Red Tintcoat Color: First Look

The 2023 Chevy Bolt EV adds one new exterior color to its palette: Radiant Red Tintcoat. Here’s our first look at the new Red hue.

Assigned RPO code GNT and touch-up paint code WA-170H, Radiant Red Tintcoat is one of seven exterior colors offered on the all-electric subcompact crossover, which include:

• Bright Blue Metallic
• Gray Ghost Metallic
• Ice Blue Metallic
• Mosaic Black Metallic
• Silver Flare Metallic
• Summit White
• Radiant Red Tintcoat (new for 2023)

Radiant Red Tintcoat is an extra-cost item that adds $495 to the crossover’s price and is available on both trim levels – 1LT and 2LT. Only one interior colorway is available, which is Jet Black.

The 2022 Chevy Bolt EV received an updated exterior and interior design, and was joined by a new, larger sibling, the 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV.

Like the Bolt EUV, the Bolt EV rides on the GM BEV2 platform and utilizes the same single-drive electric motor, which produces 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, fed by the 65 kWh lithium-ion battery. It provides 250 miles of range per charge in the Bolt EV.

The 2023 Chevy Bolt EV gets a new illuminated charge port as a standalone option.

Production for the 2023 Chevy Bolt EV began at the GM Lake Orion plant in Michigan on July 26^th, 2022. The online configurator tool is now live for the 2023 Bolt EV.
