The 2023 Cadillac CT4 is the fourth model year for the luxury sedan, featuring only a handful of updates and changes compared to the preceding 2022 model year. One of these is a new appearance pack called the Blue Accent Package.
Representing the first time that the package has been available on the CT4, the Blue Accent Package (RPO Code PDL) is offered on the Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels, and is an LPO or dealer-installed option. Additionally, the package is also available for the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V.
Priced at $3,495, the Blue Accent Package (PDL) includes the following content (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- 19-inch Low Gloss Black alloy wheels (SPQ)
- Blue wheel center cap, LPO (5ZF)
- Black wheel lug nuts, LPO (SPY)
- Black wheel locks, LPO (SPZ)
- Decals, LPO (Luxury and Premium Luxury only) (RY2)
- Decals, LPO (Sport only) (5K2)
It’s worth noting that the Blue Accent Package can’t be combined with any other exterior appearance packages on the Cadillac CT4, including Exterior Accent Package (LPO, PDU), Onyx Package (LPO, PDB) Radiant Package (LPO, PDV), or recently-introduced Bronze Accent Package (PDJ).
GM also introduced the Blue Accent Package on the CT4’s larger sibling, the 2023 Cadillac CT5.
As a reminder, the 2023 Cadillac CT4 is available with three engine options, depending on the trim level selected. The turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, is standard on the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trim levels. Models with this engine get the 350T designation on the decklid as part of Cadillac’s torque-based nomenclature. From there, the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine is optional on the CT4 Premium Luxury, where it makes 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. These models wear the 500T badge. The CT4-V is powered by a higher-output version of the L3B engine, rated at 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque.
Production of the 2023 Cadillac CT4 began on July 11th, 2022, as GM Authority reported previously. Production continues to take place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan for all markets except for China, where the four-door is built alongside the related Cadillac CT5 sedan, as well as the Chevy Camaro muscle car. Under the skin, the 2023 Cadillac CT4 continues to utilize the Alpha 2 platform.

So they think it’s a good idea to charge someone $3500 for ugly black rims with some blue in the center caps? Only a fool would pay that to make the car look worse.
Obviously, you don’t have any experience or knowledge on anything. The Black Rims are a wheel type, if you don’t like them, then that’s a you problem. They are Blue and Black, how can anybody not like them? Keep your meaningless thoughts to yourself. Only a fool would say something like you did. You’re pathetic, dodgetard.
TrentonChevyMan: I’d say that I have more experience in my left toe than you probably have in life, but I don’t know you just like you don’t know me. So calm yourself.
Black rims are a “wheel type”? Care to expand on that?
I think you kind of missed the entire point of my comment or maybe you just don’t comprehend what you read. So I’ll make this very simple: $3500 for them is what I was saying is terrible. The fact that I find black rims ugly is my opinion. If you think black rims are nice, that’s your opinion. We agree on that correct? But if you are foolish enough to pay that for some black rims with some blue center caps, then go for it. I’m not that vain.
Like I said before, I have more knowledge and talent than you can think to have. I stand corrected to my post, and it is not an opinion. With your little “comeback”, you have really made yourself look like a fool. Why do you need to say NEGATIVE things about this news article? Keep your thoughts to yourself, that is part of having common logic. And yes, you don’t know me, so why would I agree with anything you say? Exactly. Chevy is the best!
TCM: Are you ok? Really, are you ok? Maybe you need to crawl out of your parents basement and get some sunlight. Go for a walk. Anything, because you seem a little slow, angry and bombastic.
To prove my point? In your 8 sentences above, you contradict yourself in a very obvious manner in several ways.
1. We don’t know each other, yet you claim to be have so much more knowledge than I. How?
2. You stand corrected to your post? It’s not an opinion? Really?
3. Keep your thoughts to yourself, you say. And yet you blast your thoughts on here. Hmmm.
Like I said above. Calm yourself.
Haha, your hilarious! Did your mommy not give you enough love in your childhood? If I do live in my parents basement, at least I still have people who care, and love me. On the other hand, there is you who have to try to come back at someone who is absolutely correct to make themselves feel better. You are pathetic. If you want to get technical with me, bring it on. BRING IT ON.
1. You insist talking bad about this GM Authority post, because people like you don’t like the truth
2. You don’t have a SINGLE bit of information to even think to come back at me, so you can get a life
3. Your never going to get technical with me. I’m not the person you want to do that to.
So since I won this whole battle, you can get off your mommy’s laptop and get a life.
Wow, that is a pretty nice looking shade of blue!
Also, cool looking rims!
Hahaha. Shade of blue? The car is silver. The package doesn’t include some blue paint job. It’s black rims, black lug nuts with locks, blue accent on the center cap only and maybe some decals? Yup, that sure is pretty! And such a deal at $3500.
The name of the car color is blue, so it is blue. It’s common logic.
33 dislikes? That must be the fordtard robots, sooooo
You know so much about me and said above that Chevy is the best. (Hint, I drive a Chevy!). Because people on here don’t like your comments, they vote down and now you displace the blame on Ford owners? Really?
Lastly, where in the article do you see the name of the color is blue? Where do you see any blue cars in the article? Seriously, are you ok?
I’ve already won the battle. Do you really need to keep thinking your coming back at me? REALLY? GET A LIFE!
TrentonChevyMan, Dan is stating his opinion, I all so think it’s a lot of money. Basically, it just another black rim.
To call it a Blue Accent Package is ridicules. It’s just another rim for $3,500. If you like that rim good for you, that’s your opinion, no need to attack anybody. The Pontiac Aztek was ugly, my opinion, obviously a hell of a lot of people didn’t agree with me.
I am stating pure facts. The wheel and color option costs $3,500. If anything, dan was trying to be smart with me, so I stated some more facts. People who lie, and need to say something bad about something good don’t like to hear the truth. And the Pontiac Aztek is a pretty cool looking SUV. If you say it’s not, then that’s YOUR OPINION. And I really don’t think I was talking to you anyhow, so I wouldn’t worry about anything I said to dan that you didn’t like. Common logic.
You’re posting on an open forum about cars. You’re talking to EEEEEEEEEEEEvvvvvvvvvvvverybody. Common logic
LOL.
Your not funny, I WON.
If you won, I have a bridge to sell you. You know the won that says ” What Trenton Makes the Word Takes”.
I still won this whole argument.
There was no argument, you won nothing.
I won this whole argument, and you know it.
I gave you a thumbs up for trying so hard
No you didn’t, soooooooo
