NCM Motorsports Park Gets First Corvette Z06 Fleet

The National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park will expand its vehicle fleet with the addition of two new 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 models, making it the first racetrack to offer the latest high-performance sports car to its customers.

Guests will be able to take the new Corvette Z06 around for four laps around the Motorsports Park’s 3.2-mile, 23-turn road course, and are allowed to rally the sports car above highway speeds in a lead-follow format. Opting for the Fast Pack for an extra cost allows guests a Zero to Sixty launch on the racetrack’s straightaway, as well as a Hot Lap with a professional NCM driver behind the wheel.

“We pride ourselves on delivering world-class experiences to our guests,” says Greg Waldon, Executive Director of the NCM Motorsports Park. “By adding the Z06s to our fleet, we’re taking our services to the next level. Being the first track in the nation to offer this kind of experience is special, and we look forward to thrilling Corvette enthusiasts and car lovers from across the country.”

The new Corvette Z06 models bound for the racetrack will be built at the GM Bowling Green Assembly Plant toward the end of September, and will become available for guests at the Motorsports Park in November for Touring Laps. Fans are invited to participate in designing the vehicles’ wraps by voting on which Z06 will receive a special Mobil 1 wrap. Fans can also vote on the theme of the wraps and ultimately select the final design. This contest will be facilitated on the National Corvette Museum’s social media channels beginning later this week.

Interested customers can put their names on a waiting list to drive a Corvette Z06 by accessing the NCM Motorsports Park website. The NCM notes that it currently has a fleet of C8 Corvette Stingrays available to drive around its road course.

  2. That would make a nice addition to any museum trip. I am hoping to visit NCM someday. Never been.

  3. Above highway speeds…. 75?
When I drive my C8, corners are always fun. Legal street speeds are not exceptional.
The C8 , above highway speeds, is fantastic.
What I might be saying is that the Z06 on that follow-lead may be fun for sure. And you will experience acceleration, and for good reason you will be contained safely.
    I would do it.
Just like Spring Mountain Corvette Owners School, it is a good time.

  4. I was hoping I could get on another list involving the ZO6.

  5. Yup. Generate even more interest/demand for a vehicle with no supply.
