The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV‘s main mission is to offer an “affordable all-electric SUV” for modern families looking to “make a seamless, confident and uncompromising transition to an EV.” As an added bonus, this budget-minded EV will also be available in a fairly wide variety of exterior colors (for a first model-year vehicle, that is), and will also be offered with two-tone Summit White and Black contrasting roofs.
The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV will be available in the following eight color combinations from launch:
Summit White
Black
Iridescent Pearl Tricoat
Sterling Gray Metallic
Radiant Red Metallic
Red Hot
Galaxy Gray Metallic
Riptide Blue Metallic
These colors are what are indicated as being available for the 2024 model year on Chevrolet.com, however GM has also confirmed the Chevy Equinox EV will be available with a black contrasting roof in the 2RS and 3RS trim levels. Photos of a Chevy Equinox in either the 2RS or 3RS trim level were published with the initial press release (pictured below), indicating this color combination will likely be available for the 2024 model year in some capacity.
The first customer examples of the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV will all be yet-to-be-announced limited-edition versions of the 2RS trim level and will arrive in Fall 2023. Regular series production models are set to begin arriving at U.S. and Canadian Chevy dealers in early 2024. Details and ordering information for these models will be available closer to the start of production, which will take place exclusively at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico. The American automaker has invested more than $1 billion in the Ramos Arizpe plant to produce EVs, with the sprawling Mexican facility set to export vehicles to more than 45 countries.
The Ramos Arizpe plant will become GM’s fourth North American EV manufacturing facility once production of the Equinox EV begins there late next year, joining Spring Hill, Tennessee, Factory Zero and Lake Orion in Michigan, as well as CAMI in Ingersoll, Ontario.

The galaxy gray is cool but probably pain to keep clean . That or dark red
If the “grille” area was black, that would look better.
The grille is black on the RS trim.

Chevy offers green usually as a one or two model year kind of color. I have a sea grass green 2015 Equinox. Only offered in the 2015 model year. The 3rd gen Equinox offered Ivy Green for 2018 and 2019 model years. They will most likely offer some sort of green on the Equinox EV at some point, but appear to be sticking to more standard colors for the introduction. It would only make sense to offer a “green car” in actual green.
Back in the 90s where they belong.

Good colors except black. If they can sell it for 35,000 with 300 mile battery it will be hot
I keep reading about new chemistry with other brands, faster charging, more energy density battery pacs but don’t hear this with gm. All the money they are putting into ev I hope they are keeping up with the tech.
Doesn’t matter what color they produce them in…..bought two absolute lemons built in Mexico, an HHR SS and Avalanche. Avalanche was bought back by GM and the HHR SS sat in the dealer for 3 months with an undiagnosable electrical problem. Never again.
Currently whether GM or Stellantis will win race to electrification? Those PSA flex platforms have won a bunch of European awards & the new Small, Medium & Large platforms will use Guilia’s suspension further saving money.
I hope Ultium is worth all the hype especially as energy prices fall which will slow early adaptation. Ukraine war will likely conclude within three months at which point the market will hff ave too much supply
Can you please come out with the silver sage in the equinox. It’s a very popular color. You have it for the traverse and it’s so popular you can’t keep it on the lot for long. I sure hope you consider the silver sage on the equinox. Thanks
