GMC Live Virtual Showroom Now Available For Shoppers

GM first launched the online Cadillac Live showroom in Canada before expanding the service to its U.S. customer base in late 2019. Now, the American automaker has extended this technology to the premium GMC brand as well, allowing consumers to connect with a product specialist and receive a walkaround tour of its latest products.

Just like Cadillac Live, those that book an appointment with the free-to-use GMC Live service will be able to connect with a product rep via a one-way live stream, who can show them the latest GMC vehicles and their various features. The agent will be located in a studio space containing various GMC display models and will be equipped with a headset and a phone gimbal. Following the one-on-one tour, which users can elect to end at any time, the product specialist can assist users in connecting with a local dealership and setting up a test drive. Users must be over 18 years of age and located in the United States to use GMC Live.

In addition to one-on-one sessions, GMC Live also allows users to sign up for pre-scheduled group live tours. This will essentially be a group one-way live stream in which the product specialist will take viewers on a tour of the studio, showing off GMC vehicles and their features. There’s also a separate booking option for viewers who want a tour of the GMC Hummer EV Pickup specifically.

A wide variety of vehicles are currently available to view in the GMC Live showroom, including vehicles from the AT4 off-road lineup, Denali lineup, the GMC Yukon and Yukon XL and the Sierra 1500 and Sierra HD. Interested parties can sign up through the dedicated GMC Live landing page at this link.

  1. It is a fact that you cannot drive a virtual vehicle. GM has failed to produce vehiceles. The car lots are vaccant of new vehicles and the delivery of new models is questionable. Vehicles are not complete and delivery is late. There’s no set time frame for replacement parts. It is a shame the industry has gotten caught short of everything. The just in time inventory seems to have bitten the American consumers on their rear end.

I would like to buy a 2023 GMC Denali which is scheduled to begin manfacturing in January 2023.
I’m o;d enough to remember automobioes arriving at dealerships with great fanfare and anticipation – usually in September. SO, why put emphasis on virtual showrooms? I live in a real world and prefer to drive a real vehicle.

  2. A virtual show room is the closest a potential GMC customer will be able to get to experience a vehicle under corporates build shy strategy void of various assembly line components and delivered as such with no conferment to retrofit installation of missing parts or vehicle delivery dates. Hope GMC gets her EV credits from Brandon for yet another government bail out. Order de Denali ultimate from Fremont GMC in California and still no word of a build or delivery date. The incompetence is unreal from the top to the bottom.
