General Motors has confirmed its GMC premium truck brand will serve as the official presenting sponsor of the Fox NFL Sunday pre-game show throughout the 2022 football season.
In an emailed statement, the automaker said that the MultiPro tailgate on GMC vehicles like the Hummer EV Pickup and Sierra makes them the perfect game-day vehicles. The MultiPro tailgate is a multi-position truck tailgate that can be configured in six different ways, allowing it to be used as a load stop or a workbench, for example. This tailgate could be useful for tailgating thanks to the workbench configuration, which creates a useful shelf for drinks or food.
The GMC brand is of course no stranger to the NFL. The premium truck brand has been marketing its vehicles via the league for years now and the automaker previously served as the official vehicle of the Denver Broncos before it was replaced by rival truck maker Ford. GMC also teamed up with the NFL and ESPN for a marketing giveaway that gave fans a chance to win a 2011 GMC Sierra Denali.
In addition to the GMC Hummer EV Pickup and SUV and GMC Siera 1500 and Sierra HD, it’s likely GMC will also market the new 2023 GMC Canyon during Fox NFL Sunday, as well as other high-interest models like those from its Denali and AT4 trim level lines. Fox NFL Sunday sees hosts Curt Menefee and Terry Bradshaw, along with with analysts Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson and Michael Strahan, break down and discuss weekly news, plays and other happenings in the NFL.
The 2022 NFL regular season will kicked off this past week, with the Buffalo Bills beating the Los Angeles Rams at home 31-10. More information on GMC’s marketing strategy for Fox NFL Sunday will likely be divulged in the near future.

I’m surprised the article mentions GMC being the official vehicle of the Broncos, but not being the official vehicle of the entire league, which it was for over a decade…
