Players will have a chance to experience the new GMC Hummer EV in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, the latest installments in the popular Call of Duty video game franchise.
Making its introduction as the first all-electric vehicle in the Call of Duty franchise, the GMC Hummer EV will be a playable vehicle in both Warzone 2.0 battle royale and the Modern Warfare II single-player campaign. Featuring 1,000 horsepower, a 0-to-60 mph time of 3 seconds, and 13 inches of suspension travel, the GMC Hummer serves as the “perfect truck for players to transport their team across any terrain or map.”
“The GMC Hummer EV Pickup is truly the world’s first all-electric supertruck. Now, it is entering the gaming world where it will define a new chapter of capability and bring players together across the globe,” said vice president of Global Buick and GMC, Duncan Aldred. “Bringing the supertruck into Call of Duty will allow players to elevate their experience and provide a new way to play, powered by a nearly quiet and fast-accelerating EV.”
GM announced the new product tie-in with a brief teaser video. Titled “Reporting for Call of Duty,” the 1-minute video features a group of soldiers gearing up for a para drop alongside a mysterious crate set to drop alongside them. After the soldiers land, the crate opens, revealing the GMC Hummer EV Pickup. The soldiers jump inside before the driver nails the throttle, slingshotting the EV forward across the dusty ground.
“You see any more of those?” asks another soldier.

LOL, are there charging stations on the battlefields? Not very realistic.
People like you make me smh.
What is smh? Sorry, I’m not a kid.
“Shaking my head”
Unless you’re being facetious, then I just got played.
That’s pretty damn cool for an advertisement…not over the top, straight to the point. The part where their heads slam back against the seat especially gets the point across.
I don’t play COD or video games in general anymore, but this marriage definitely works.
The shipping crate comes standard with extra batteries and charging stations.. Bah Ha Ha… It should for $100K plus!!
Each hummer comes with a trailer mounted Cat diesel generator!
It’s no wonder it’s in a video game, the ugly duckling reminds me of the Halo Warthog.
