The GMC Hummer EV has made splashdown, and can now be spotted out and about on public roads. Naturally, some owners may feel inclined to customize their all-electric off-roader with bespoke exterior touches, as seen in these shots of a wrapped GMC Hummer EV Pickup parked in New York City.
Coming to us from the @cars.of.ny Instagram feed, this particular custom GMC Hummer EV was seem in the Lower Manhattan neighborhood of SoHo, and looks impressive against the towering buildings and street lights. Per the post description, this particular GMC Hummer EV belongs to American rapper, producer, and record exec ASAP Rocky.
The first thing to grab us is the color, with a bright yellow wrap covering the body panels from front to back. The color is reminiscent of older-model Hummers, and is complemented by black trim bits lower in the body panels, front fascia, tow hooks, taillight surrounds, and window tint.
Notably, this GMC Hummer EV is running some rather large wheels as well, with custom seven-spoke rollers filling the large wheel wells. The wheels are wrapped in chunky rubber, continuing the off-roader theme without sacrificing on the curb appeal. Also notable are the California license plates.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the GMC Hummer EV in a custom wrap. That said, the yellow finish on this particular example certainly has our attention.
