National inventory for the Chevy Trailblazer crossover was running at a five-day supply as of the beginning of September, GM Authority has learned from sources familiar with GM’s go-to-market situation. A 60-day supply is considered optimal in the U.S. auto industry.
The five-day supply figure is an improvement compared to available supply just a few months prior. As GM Authority reported previously, Chevy Trailblazer supply was running at just three days in early July.
In terms of sales, the Chevy Trailblazer sold 24,544 units in the first half of the year, a 49.25-percent decrease compared to the 48,367 units sold during the same time period in 2021. The latest figures place the Chevy Trailblazer in seventh place in the mainstream subcompact crossover segment with regard to U.S. sales volume for the first half of the 2022 calendar year.
Meanwhile, the Honda HR-V takes the top-spot in the segment with 73,016 units sold in H1 of 2022, a 6.68-percent increase in sales volume compared to the 68,441 units sold during the same time period in 2021. The Jeep Compass was second in the segment with 46,335 units sold, while the Nissan Kicks was third with 34,600 units sold.

As GM Authority covered previously, the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer is now the most-affordable 2023 model-year GM vehicle available to order in the U.S. following the departure of the Chevy Spark. Looking ahead, GM will introduce an all-new next-generation Chevy Trax later in the 2022 calendar year, which is likely to take the title of most-affordable GM model on offer when it hits the U.S. market.
To help meet strong demand, GM added 6,000 units to the Chevy Trailblazer production schedule at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea, which supplies units of the crossover for the North American market. The majority of that production will go towards the latest 2023 model year.
Under the hood, the Chevy Trailblazer offers the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine, as well as the turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T gasoline engine. The GM VSS-F vehicle set provides the underpinnings.

The poor sales are a direct result of no inventory to sell. There has not been TBs in our part of the country for most of 2022!
I just don’t understand how other manufacturers are able to get chips and continue production while GM has none for any products other that full size trucks and SUVs
