Still overpriced by $10k
Doesn’t account for the almost 4000$ price increase year over year.
Like the other guys- doesn’t account for price hikes and why not focus on building out customer orders and getting parts in?
Sounds like people are smart enough not to buy a 1500 with a 2.7 turbo also haha
Still trying to unload those 4-bangers! Pull’em and put ‘em in Colorados.
This dumb logic is exactly why Mary’s all-EV conversion will result in the loss of millions of GM customers. You can’t force people buy what they don’t want!
OH ! MÊME AVEC MES COMMENTAIRES GM NE ME RÉPOND JAMAIS, JE ME DEMANDE SI GM NOUS ÉCOUTENT OU S’ILS SUPRIME NOS COMMENTAIRES… ALORS GM PASSEZ LE MESSAGE… 🙁
Translation please!
It would appear our French-speaking friend wants to know if GM is still shipping trucks without chips, and he doesn’t like turbocharged engines. He has a 2018 High Country with power retractable steps that have broken three times. He also seems to think this site is actually run by GM, and is mad they aren’t responding to his comments.
Surrender lately?
Again, GM is only giving discounts on the slow moving stock – it’s all the trucks nobody wants. Nobody buys a full-size pickup truck and wants a 4 cylinder engine in it. The power output may be close, but it’s still a 4-banger. If it made more power than the 6.2 V8 engine you might have some interest. If this engine was so good, why isn’t it offered in the higher trim levels? You can’t force people to buy what they don’t want.
Yup, same goes for EV’s!
Still waiting for Silverado I ordered in February – company said it was built June 8th and is parked at GM’s plant in Canada. This is a 22 model, now they are making 23’s. Can’t get it shipped? What’s up?
“Market Adjustment” by the dealer will negate any incentives offered by the manufacturer.
I’m a long time GM driver getting ready to replace my 2011 Chev Silverado. What I’m reading and what has been in the press for the last two years is making me wonder if GM is the direction I need to go. Not a glowing review of GM’s marketing, engineering and management performance.
Incentive on a truck that nobody wants, i4.
If my Duramax wasn’t coming in this week I would order a Ford power stroke and wait, no wonder gm stock is going down.
I ordered a GMC at4x the first day possible in October of 21. Came in May 1. The dealership allocation helped get it done sooner I felt. It’s a great machine. Really well done. My fifth GMC truck I’ve owned. 92, 00, 08, 15, now a 2022. First time having the 6.2 liter. Great engine, great transmission, smooth shifts and rides amazing.
