The 2023 models are being built and sold at this time. There must be a lot of 2022’s that were built short, stayed on lots heaven knows how long, and finally being shipped to dealers.

The factory is shut down again due to parts shortages. As far as I have seen the only things that were built shy were trucks and SUVs

Can someone explain to me exactly what the status on the Camaro is? Is it dead (or suffering a long slow death) or is it alive?

We have all heard it was dead, but even then it was foggy. Now Dodge has announced very clearly that the Charger and Challenger are dead as of 2023 with the Charger Daytona SRT “Banshee” EV taking over in 2024.

Yet not a significant peep from Chevy.

The car I ordered 14 months ago was finally built June 1, 2022. So I missed out on several 0% GM Financial offers.
On Wednesday of last week (8/31) the dealer hears that the car was finally loaded onto a railcar for shipment from Lansing. There were no issues as to why the car should not have shipped before this. So I missed out on the June financing of 1.9%, the July financing of 2.49%, and the August financing of 2.89% with a 90 day deferred payment. Maybe, and I’m not holding my breath, Chevrolet can get it to me before the October 3rd deadline!

A sold car, sits in Lansing for 90 days with no movement. I can go to a dealer’s lot and drive a ’23 model (i did this last weekend) and buy it, but I can’t go buy the built ’22 I ordered. Chevrolet has no clue what they are doing.

Going Ev is going cost more, put out more C02, yes no joke, while the price of electricity is set to skyrocket by 50% in next two yrs making that EV, (that produces more carbon emissions just from the processes to get the minerals for the batteries, that are not recyclable and all electricity is made from coal or natural gas. Hybrids are the way to go. The country’s grid can’t handle 30% EV’s by 2030. The best estimate for a good grid is 2055!!! On top of rolling black outs. Folks wake the f up. This is all bs being done for woke elites pockets $$$$ and control, nothing more. Has ZERO to do with climate though they SAY it does. They don’t want us driving or doing anything without permission anymore soon. Bill Gates Sr said in 1990 if we don’t depopulate earth by about 80% by 2030 the ozone will collapse humans breath to much 02.. Total rubbish say unbiased, non politicized experts
