GM pulled the sheets on the refreshed 2024 Chevy Silverado HD yesterday, showing off, among other things, an overhauled interior space. Now, we’re taking another look at the 2024 Chevy Silverado HD’s redesigned interior with the following brief video
Clocking in at just 30 seconds, the video shows off the cabin space for the range-topping High Country trim level. That said, the redesigned cabin is equipped by 2024 Chevy Silverado HD LT trim levels and above.
The new cabin design incorporates an all-new 13.4-inch diagonal infotainment screen paired with a 12.3-inch diagonal configurable driver information center, providing abundant screen real estate for the various onboard features. Controls are provided via physical buttons and switches, as well as the digital touchscreen. The overall design was inspired by the recently refreshed light-duty Chevy Silverado 1500.
The video also shows off the redesigned wireless phone charger, which places the user’s smart phone underneath the center armrest area to reduce distractions, while side-by-side cupholders make it easy to store beverages on the go. The interior now offers upwards of 10 total cupholders depending on the model and configuration.
Further tech features include a range of new and enhanced trailering systems, such as Adaptive Cruise Control with Trailer, Enhanced Transparent Trailer, Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert, and GCW Alert. Safety and convenience tech includes Front Pedestrian Braking, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, and Following Distance Indicator. There’s also an available configurable head-up display on offer.
As for the materials, authentic leather-wrapped surfaces and wood accents are available for certain models, enhancing the redesigned interior even further with a more-premium feel. In back, passengers are kept comfortable thanks to second-row climate vents and controls.

As for what’s under the hood, the 2024 Chevy Silverado HD features the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine as standard, as well as the upgraded 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax as an optional upgrade. Production is set to kick off at the GM Flint Assembly plant in Michigan and GM Oshawa plant in Canada in the first half of the 2023 calendar year.

could not see differences because it is 98 % all black…
but is it not time to update this Chevrolet Logo removing the Gold and doing all Chrome ?
Would be nice if GM would allow the midnight edition to be ordered In all the colors and not just black. Come on gm it’s our $$ let us decide!!
Love the new dash, reminds me of ’06 when the radio was angled toward the driver. I miss that cockpit-like feeling in my 2019. I do not like the lack of physical controls for the 13.4″ screen. They should have moved the safety and traction controls switch-bank down lower and had a bank of radio controls. Being able to physically feel for seek, pause etc. buttons without having to look at the display is significantly safer. Every single physical button to the right of the volume knob should be below the climate controls (as it is in 2019HD), we use the radio and climate a heck of a lot more than the four-way flashers and lane departure switches etc. Overall, great job Chev! Just my two cents.
It’s nice to see the HD High Country still has a column mounted shifter, unlike in the half ton versions. A console mounted auto shifter in a truck, just seems stupid to me. These are trucks, not sports cars, and it just makes more sense to me to have that usable storage space in the console, instead of a silly shifter.
It’s too BLAH-k.
No cd player that I can see like my current 2500HD has
With 7 million dollars worth of CD’s…AND Serius radio ….I want a CD player in my 2020 HIGH COUNTRY
Hey ….GM wake up…..I’ve been a Chevy owner since my 67 Camaro (after saving my entire combat pay for 13 months… NO RxR as I wanted that )7 Camaro THAT BAD
I even bought a new 2003 (first year) H2 Hummer and kept that outstanding vehicle 13 years.
I’m a true GM person!!!!!
Why can’t I build and price the new 2024. If you are putting out to buy give us the ability to build. Also why are items such as q7g wheels not avaliable on new LTZ models??
